+Good breakfast, excellent location, and a very spacious room with a nice view
−The Nespresso coffee machine had a cracked water tank. While I was working, I made myself a coffee; I didn't notice right away that the water remaining in the tank was dripping onto the floor, so I had to spend 10 minutes drying both the floor and the counter. Furthermore, the shower drain was clogged, and I ended up flooding the bathroom on the first night.

“The Thon Hotel Opera was a memorable stay for all the right reasons.”
+The location was excellent, it’s opposite the side of the station. Opera house and Fjord cruise close by. Breakfast is outstanding, dinner in the restaurant was lovely. The room was really nicely decorated.
−We loved everything about this hotel.

“Perfect for a couple of days in Osko, very central and 12pm check out”
+It’s a corporate hotel with all the good that comes with that. Excellent superior double room with a good view due to an upgrade. Breakfast was excellent. I ordered a sandwich at the restaurant and it was huge. I had to insist that my husband had some. Position right next to the station could not have been better.
−I can’t think of anything

+Thon Hotel Opera is a very well-run hotel. It's in an excellent, central location overlooking the Olsofjord and next to the Opera House, Deichman Library and Central Station and a short stroll from the Munch Museum. Trams and buses run past outside but it's also very calm and peaceful and not disturbed by city centre crowds. Everything is exceptionally clean, efficient and reliable, and our 9th floor our room was unexpectedly generous, with a grand city view. Breakfast was truly superb - a really good start to the day! Finally the staff are well-trained, polite and discreet. Altogether this hotel is very good value, and totally reliable.
