+Chose to upgrade to a top floor larger room with sea view balcony. Indulgent but nice to have! Helpful host.
−Some towel and toiletry issues on first night. No food available in the evening but host arranged an Uber delivery.

+The room was very spacious. We also had a very good and passionate host.
−The food was good but the dinner arrangements are not as one works expect in a hotel, there's room for improvement.

“Better than most of the bigger hotels in the area.”
+A great room. Lots of space. I loved the artwork in the room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast included too. The hotel is close to the beach.
−The TV did not work and had to be replaced. Street parking however the car is under surveillance at all times.

“It was good.”
+The hotel was in fantastic location. I could see the ocean right from the hotel. Location in general was perfect for where I needed to be. Close to shops, airport and the beach. Breakfast was very good.
−I didn't like the lack of staff visibility at reception. When I arrived, I had no way of calling for someone or ringing a bell of some kind. They always seem to hide in the back office and check the security cameras to see if anyone is at the front. I also went out in the afternoon and when I came back, had difficulty getting back into the hotel. the front door was locked and it seems the 3 bell buttons didn't work well so I had to call a number from my booking info to get someone to open the door for me. Again, due to also no one being at reception that could have had direct visibility of the entrance. When I wanted to put my rental car in secure parking, I had trouble getting someone again at reception. They saw me on the cameras and buzzed the front door open for me instead of coming to the front to talk to me. I had to wait few mins longer before someone finally came which was not even front desk but potentially a cleaner that asked what they could help me with and I asked about my car to be parked in secure parking. Then I was told they would call me or come to knock on my apartment door. We also discovered that the room phone didn't work. It was out of order. The premises are

“Weekend stay”
+The staff are exceptional The rooms are very spacious with a lounge area which is a treat. The bathroom was good. The breakfast was hearty and delicious
−Birds living on the roof were noisy and disruptive Door to the balcony did not lock and felt unsafe The wifi connection was very weak and barely worked There are minor incomplete aspects like: blinds in the bathroom for complete privacy, lighting at night is poorly designed and there was only one working bedside lamp.
