“value for money”
+Close to city centre. Room was decorated noce and bed snd pillows were comfortable.
−Bathroom was very small, could barely turn around in the shower and it had a shelf sticking out which was a hazzard. The windows are old and let a draught in. There is no elevator so if stairs are an issue let them know.

“We needed an overnight stay for a concert and this was just what we needed”
+Good location, ease of parking and entry. Clean and tidy and comfortable beds Staff very accommodating about letting us check in a little earlier
−The shower ran cold a couple of times while showering and the wet room type floor took ages to drain

“Good for one night stay.”
+self check-in system worked well. Bed comfortable, tea and coffee making in room. Decor in room was nice.
−Room was small. No chair or wardrobe. Breakfast was too simple. Pastries, cold meats or cheese would be nice. I just had cereal, yoghurt and banana, and instant coffee.

“We absolutely enjoyed our stay.”
+We had a wonderful stay. Everything was clean, the room absolutely comfortable and cosy. Good quarter with great restaurants nearby, linked well to the city centre. Bus stop almost in front of the hotel, all Pink Buses going via city centre.
−It would be great to have more hooks for hanging clothes (particularly) in the bathroom.

“Was ok for 1 night”
+The property looked lovely from the photos in keeping with the age of the property and looked well maintained
−The room itself was not the best we could not open the windows they were sash windows so was hard to open if they did even open they were full of black mould round the frames. The bedside lamps were very dusty and the picture on the were also dusty and grimy. You will say why did I check that I just thought it might have been an oversight on the dusty lamps so out of curiosity I checked the pictures. When using the shower due to not being able to open the window and the internal fan not being very strong all the windows steamed up and most of my toiletries were wet due to the condensation. The mirror in the bathroom was not securely fitted to the wall so wiping it to be able to use it was concerning as it could of fallen The safe door was closed so we could not use it we rang the reception but they are not on site so we decided to take our valuables with us. Breakfast was fine it had everything needed to make aquick but think more plates and cutlery needed as used items were to be left for housekeeping to clean. The bed and the bedding were fine and the towels were fine but the room we chose had a metal bed frame and that’s what we liked as it looked cosy. The actual bed was a diva
