“Pit Stop on a 600 mile Road Trip”
+Convenient location and plenty of parking space. Easily found on my Sat-Nav. Check in procedure was by remote phone call, but that was very efficient, with clear and precise instructions from a very helpful member of staff. Room was clean and tidy. Perfect for my purposes
−Nothing amiss. All good

“Won't stay here again”
−The power plugs went off through the night, I use a c-pap machine when sleeping which wouldn't work. The lights worked. The shower was cold the next morning. Even though we booked for two people, the room was only set up for 1 person, 1 coffee mug (which we couldn't use due to power points not working). 1 towel. There was a light in the ceiling (looked like an emergency light) which had a green light inside it, very bright and constantly on, couldn't turn it off. Definitely not worth £81 for the night.

+Excellent stay, huge lovely room, great location, plenty of parking, bed was a bit squeaky but extremely comfortable. Safe and secure. Cctv outside. Immaculate. Super clean linen. Would certainly stay again. Few minutes on foot to highstreet.

“It is a room only hotel so we had all our meals out. a lot to see in the area.”
+We were moved to a different room as there was a fault with the sink. This room was better and the bed was of good quality. The place is central and has a car park. It has a very industrial outlook.
−The bed in the first room was not good quality and uncomfortable. It needs to be changed. We had a poor nights sleep and considered leaving, even though we were booked for 3 nights. The last 2 nights in the second room was fine.

“Will not stay again”
+Fresh and new bathroom
−The room had clearly been cleaned: the towels were fresh and the shower cubicle was clean. However, the carpets were old, and the fabric-covered end of the bed was visibly very dirty and stained, as though sweat and dirt had built up over time. This made the whole room feel unhygienic, even though it had been cleaned. I found it so unpleasant that I had to cover it with a towel to feel comfortable.
