+Room high up. Good location from railway station. Good price. Clean. Bed was adequate for single room but I only use it as a one night stop over, is ideal for that. Have stayed here a few times & in end of October is a warm room.
−Inadequate lighting in bathroom &, especially.over t.v as is where the tea/coffee facility is. Shower needs handrail & non slip mat as is dangerous getting in or out of it.

“My third time staying here so they must be doing it right,”
+The bed was comfortable, there was a generous collection of sugar and milk enough to match the teabags, my room was reasonably quiet despite being above a pub as it was on the top floor, the location was very handy for the railway station, with the nights being cold the plug in heater was very welcome,
−To be honest I couldn't really find much of a fault, if I were to pick one thing was the window being rather thin so it let in the cold and some of the outside noise even when closed but there was a plug in heater to counteract that problem

+Great location for exploring Shrewsbury. Staff were very friendly.Rooms were clean, maybe compact but not to the extent it made a difference. Would stay again.

“Shrewsbury is glorious”
+The hotel was a short walk away from the centre around the corner of the castle and jail with the room clean and tidy.
−The hotels over a pub but I went Monday to wednesday so the pub was quiet so best Monday to Thursday unless your spending a night on the town.

“Basic but clean and well priced.”
+The check in and check out was very easy as was out of hours access.
−The staircase up to the room was a bit scruffy but this is a budget stay and it did not effect my comfort.
