“would go again ideal single room for 1 night”
+breakfast was good, service very slow , poss due to a lot arriving at same time, either need extra staff or buffet style breakfast,
−i had shared bathroom which i knew about, im a plumber and whoever did the bathroom layed it out badly, toilet was shoehorned between wash basin and shower, anyone large would struggle, the wash basin should have placed in corner about 500mm further would have made such a difference, also tv in room aerial needs sorting picture pixelating, to be fair i dont think present owners have had it long

“Staff were lovely, good location, rooms were clean”
+Close to train station and about 5 min walk to coral island / primark etc The two staff I spoke to were lovely couldn’t fault them
−Bed wasn’t comfortable but for what you pay you don’t mind! Would recommend an extra member of staff of a morning for breakfast time when busy to take some stress off of the staff member taking orders & bringing food out

“Ok for a 1 night stay.”
+Clean and friendly, near to train station and a few good bars near by for food and drinks.
−Does not have a bar as stated in the advert, however the Duke pub is only a short walk away and has good pub food, and open till late. Would not recommend for anyone with walking disabilities, our room was on 2nd floor and found it a challenge to get up the stairs. At breakfast my husband ordered poached egg, was told it would take 10 mins which was ok. However when meal arrived egg was not poached. Also asked for the water for tea to be replenished as no water left, was told that it would be refilled, but it wasn't.

“My stay at The Trentham.”
+Everything. The overall hospitality, the location, etc. The owner was very helpful - any questions & she was on to it immediately. She had a good sense of humour. The rooms were clean. The food was good. I could see the Tower from the room. Lined curtains at the window - these muffled any street sound. A short walk to the prom, etc. The quality of the TV reception depended on the weather, but you don't go on holiday to watch TV. The hotel was within the Gay Quarter, which was handy 😉. It was also close to the Blackpool North railway station, which was useful. I visited towards the end of the season, but I'm sure it would be as good at the height of the season. The good old-fashioned Blackpool B&B 😄.
−All good.
