“Astounding views and amenities at The Treehouse!”
+Beautiful view. Such modern amenities. Very comfortable bed.
−My only suggestion would be another comfortable chair in the sitting room. It was a bit tight for 4 people to relax.

“Absolutely beautiful cottage with spectacular, sweeping views of the ocean, fjord and mountains”
+Located on the side of a mountain, The Treehouse is amazing and has sweeping views of the fjord. To say that it has "million dollar views" is an understatement. The views were just breathtaking---and you could see the ocean, black sand beaches and snow-capped mountains from every window. The cabin is new. It is in perfect condition and both thoughtfully and lovingly decorated. We absolutely loved it and did not want to leave. Our hosts paid attention to every detail and it was very much appreciated. The kitchen and bathroom have everything you need. The tv is huge and my kids very much appreciated it. I cannot say enough positive things about our hosts. Wonderful people--gracious, kind and very thoughtful. We appreciated their sharing their amazing home with us and we will ABSOLUTELY come back!!! We highly recommend your staying at The Treehouse :-). PS: The airport is an hour away and Reykjavik is only 45 minutes. We used this is a base to take day trips to The Golden Circle, Snaefellsnes Peninsula, Reykjavik, etc. There is also plenty to do on this fjord (Hvalfjordur) and all within just a few minutes of the house---there are multiple waterfalls, a museum, black sand beaches, sea

“To us, a little piece of heaven and will always be in our heart !”
+Great location for those touring the area as there are minimal choices on hotels. We were specifically looking for a place close to Hvammsvik spa and Glymur waterfall to stay the night but ended up booking two nights and it did not in the least disappoint! From sunrise to sunset, the views are breathtaking, and the amenities are what you would find in your own modern home! Fav touch’s are the fresh flowers in the outdoor planters, green grass planted around the property, inside the modern appliances, 75 inch smart TV and super comfy throw for the couch!… much more to list but you get the point!
−Clothes drying is done by drying rack provided by host… good old fashioned, energy saving, wind is free and abundant …. analog step here so just a bit of time spent.

+WOW!! What an incredible introduction to Iceland. 10/10 recommend. Beautiful property situated in the most peaceful location with the best views. Amenities were incredible, they had everything we could need and more! Lovely host too. Thank you for a great stay

“Beautiful home in great location”
+Beautiful and cozy home! Spotlessly clean, thoughtfully decorated, and very comfortable all around. The views were fantastic too. Nice hot showers and really handy to have a washing machine. Great location convenient to the Golden Circle, the wonderful Hvammsvik Hot Springs just across the fjord, the Snaefellsnes Penninsula, and an easy drive into Reykjavik. We were lucky to see incredible Northern Lights multiple nights during our stay, and also enjoyed many beautiful sunrises. WiFi and TV worked seamlessly. Excellent communication from the hosts. We look forward to staying again someday!

+Absolutely incredible! We’ve been vacationing in Iceland for many years and this is by far the best home we’ve ever stayed in! It’s beautiful, sparkling clean, and has a stunning view! Our stay was perfect in every way! It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

−Die Anfahrt etwas schwierig, da die Einfahrt noch nicht ausgeschildert ist, sehr steinige Zuwegung zum Haus. Aber das ist wirklich Jammern auf hohem Niveau.
