“Lovely accommodation with tradition features.”
+Loved that it been renovated and kept the quirky old features. Nice clean accommodation, with clean beds and towels.
−Creaky single bed, which was quite annoying. Breakfast had very poor choice, and could have been much better. Quality of items that were available were good.

“It was a recouperation stay, following my earlier prognosis of prostate cancer. it was relaxing.”
+Fine food offering, cooked with skill The front of house girls were amazingly generous and cooperative. Well done, Rachel, Neve Amy - 5 star service from you and your colleagues.
−No transport to the nearby towns- once or twice a day would have been very acceptable.

“Fantastic pub for a short leisure stay”
+Great location, super comfortable, nice breakfast, lovely pub, friendly staff. Food in restaurant was excellent. Would 100% stay here again if visiting this beautiful area.
−It was a really lovely stay If I were to say one thing it would be to have a greater variety at breakfast - perhaps some fresh fruit or more hot options (pancakes and fruit perhaps?)

+A lovely location close to everything and bedrooms lovely. The pub and restaurant a little dated. Staff were very helpful and friendly ! A little shocked and disappointed to be told when checking out that we had to pay an extra £90 for our dogs so for a tad expensive for what it was! It was not made clear at any point of the charges so left a bitter taste after what was a nice stay. So be careful when booking.
−Not being told about the pet charges and a limited menu and the breakfast lovely but not very hot!!

“Overnight stay”
+Location, great food. Very quiet and lovely rooms
−Why in a massive farming county is the pub using French Sugar? The village and area produces sugar beet for British Sugar which is produced at a factory less than 20 miles away

“A comfortable stay”
+Friendly welcome. Nice warm bar where I ate the first evening. Manager explained on arrival that there was a heating problem in my room but he had installed two electric heaters - no problem, very warm, turned them down after a while and hardly needed them. Good shower. Very quiet.
−I'd have liked a chair in bedroom. It was a ground floor room but bathroom and loo did not have frosted windows so you needed to put blinds down if you wanted privacy

“Most enjoyable time spent in Norfolk”
+It was very nice all round, just a few teething problems
−The menu needs to be looked at more choice needed. The could do a specials board in the future to add more choice.

“Very enjoyable stay, and lovely tastey evening meals.”
+The location was was lovely and quiet.
−The breakfast could have had a much better quality of sausage as they were very anemic looking and needed more cooking as one guest did mention that to a member of staff, and not much flavour to them . A bit disappointing .
