“A hidden gem in Gjirokastër where exceptional hospitality, breathtaking architecture, and genuine warmth come together.”
+An absolutely exceptional hotel in the heart of Gjirokastër! Everything about this place exceeded my expectations. The location is fantastic, just a five-minute walk from the Old Bazaar, with the castle and other attractions easily accessible. What makes this hotel truly special is that it’s family-run. The family is incredibly welcoming, generous, and genuinely passionate about making their guests feel at home. Their hospitality and attention to detail are outstanding! The hotel itself is simply phenomenal. The architecture, beautiful interiors, excellent facilities, and charming atmosphere make it a destination in its own right. I absolutely fell in love with my room and every little detail throughout the property. The hotel is magical in the evening when beautifully illuminated, and equally breathtaking in the morning. Every corner has its own charm. I only stayed for one night, but I genuinely wished I could have stayed longer. An unforgettable experience and easily one of the highlights of my visit to Albania. Highly, highly recommended!
−Absolutely nothing! My only regret is that I booked just one night. I would have loved to stay longer!

“Our favourite hotel we stayed at in Albania”
+Everything was great! Walkable to the old town via a shortcut, free parking, huge breakfast included. Lovely room and generally the hotel was pretty and well looked after.
−Not even a dislike really as it was fine, it's just a bit confusing on arrival as they sent a Google maps link which tells you to go right up the steep path to the bottom of the hotel steps, whereas in reality the parking is offsite back down near the main road, so we ended up having to reverse back down the steep road and they kind of acted like we shouldn't have driven right up in the first place, even though their link sent us there. But anyway all was resolved, I just think if you can, maybe have 1 of you wait down below on the main road somewhere in the car, whilst the other goes up to the hotel to check where they want you to park.

“Great value for money for the service received, beautiful hotel and lovely staff”
+I loved the building in itself it was beautiful and the seating area on the terrace was very welcoming and cosy. The interior was superb and the breakfast in the morning was a big selection of food brought to the table including fruit, cake and eggs with freshly squeezed orange juice. It was a lovely hotel to stay at.

“Outstanding stop in historic building, close to the centre”
+From the moment we arrived, we were very well treated. The concierge took our car keys , drove it to the hotel , emptied our luggage, took them to the room , then parked our car for us. Great location and clear guidance instructions on how to get to the centre, the castle etc.
−Nothing to dislike

“Luxury getaway in beautiful traditional building”
+We loved the beautifully restored, traditional style building and the luxe comforts in our room - the only place with a bath in two weeks in Albania! Breakfasts were fantastic, and staff were friendly and accommodating - e.g., laundry services, assisting when we were ill etc.

+Staff were really kind and helped us get the suitcases up the steep hill. View from the room was fantastic. The room is also designed very nicely and the bed is comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Location is very close to the baazar, there is a secret shortcut that isn't shown on Google maps that takes you the the center in 5 minute uphill walk, the staff told us this secret. At night, there was a security guard.
