8.0“Good Chicago location for 4 bedroom apartment.”
+(Apartment next to Somo) Great location, clean spacious.Good option if needing 4 bedrooms. Bathrooms and kitchen were very nice and apartment was clean. Felt safe and secure. Able to walk to restaraunt, grocery store and to Lincoln Park and easy to Uber into city.
−Could have been a little better appointed with better pillows, more hooks for hanging towels, some bedroom lamps and a few more kitchen essentials.

10.0“Perfect spot to stay over after a Second City show”
+Nice neighborhood--we walked to and from a Second City show one night. Very helpful staff who let us store our luggage there after we checked out for a few hours so we could do some sightseeing before catching a late flight. Great common spaces and use of the refrigerator, coffee and snacks available. Sparkling clean, gracious decor. It was perfect for our Chicago stay.
−We did hear the people in the room above us very clearly.

10.0“Beautiful gem in Chicago”
+What a great find this gem of a small hotel is in such a big city and so close to everything you want to see and in a nice residential area with free oarking. The train station is a 10 min walk and with a short ride you are by the river. The house has been beautifully renovated and is spotless. The bed is very comfortable and with nice soft linens. The views from our window and the terrace are wonderful too. The continental breakfast is very good and beautifully presented. There is water bottles, hot beverages and snacks available all the time. And the best of all is the host, José is very friendly and helpful. We would definitely love to come back to The Sono on our next trip to Chicago. As an old suburban house, there are many stairs, which were not a problem for us, but it would be an issue for people with mobility challenges.

10.0“Luxury and Comfort in Chicago”
+An exceptional experience. Beautiful Air B&B on a tree-lined Street in Lincoln Park. José greeted us at the door and immediately made us feel welcome. The room was clean, comfortable, and inviting. The rooftop deck was a wonderful place to relax. Will book again the next time we visit Chicago!

9.0“Jose, our host was amazing, always had a wonderful layout for continental breakfast and very accommodating”
+Very unique and comfortable. Great continental breakfast.
−We were on the bottom floor (like a basement) so very little light coming through the windows and the lights in the room were too bright. People walking above us were loud when they wore heels.

10.0“A gem of a place in old town Chicago”
+Everything! Beautifully converted home into a B&B with impeccable craftsmanship. A 5 Star experience with a homey feel, settled in a safe and quiet tree-line neighborhood with free street parking. Fourth floor deck city views. Walking distance to the CTA and many restaurants/bars. Highly recommend this place.
−Nothing. This place is amazing,

+Very comfortable and cozy. Loved that it wasn’t a hotel and felt more like a home.
−The ac was very cold at night and there was no way for us to control it from our room.

8.0“Long Chicago weekend”
+The Sono is clean. Our room was tight but very clean. Shower was large with a nice rain shower and good pressure. Easy to get Uber and Lyft here.
−I liked having the breakfast included but mixing it up would help. It was the same daily. Throw some cured meat and assorted cheese in there. The rooftop area is a nice bonus but spruce it up some. It's pretty bare up there. Some plants and color will do the trick. The street that Sono is on is cute but know that one block away are the Evergreen projects. We didn't have any issues but you do see a few homeless people and sketchy individuals walking around.
