“We will keep this motel in mind for future overnight stays in the area.”
+Very friendly and effective office staff (probably owners). Comfortable big room, with kitchenette, equiped with coffee maker (coffee grounds provided), stove, mini-fridge, microwave, toaster. There were dishes and cutlery we did not use, as we had our own. The bathroom was recently renovated, and very clean. Excellent wifi speed.
−The kitchenette area was a bit dark. A light fixture there would be good. The chairs were well used, some updating would be good. The TV was in a weird position, 90 degrees from the beds, but not much could be done given the configuration of the room. We were too tired to watch TV anyway.

“We had a great time”
+It was a short drive to everywhere we wanted to go. It was a big room and very clean and had everything we needed. We only needed a place to sleep so we don’t need a lot of frills. The owners were kind and take pride in their property. Bed was comfy too
−I would have liked to be within walking distance of the things we wanted to see.

“Good place to lay one's head.”
+Location is right on the main hiway south of Goderich and it was quiet at night. Very clean, had kitchen facilities in the room but did not use. Beds were comfortable but a little soft. Enjoyed a good night's sleep before exploring Goderich the next day. Thank you to the owners/staff for the extra blanket.
−There was only the overhead shower. Women need a shower hose too!! It was weird that you had to turn on the light switch in order to have power in the electrical outlet in the bathroom. We like to have a nightlight in bathrooms when travelling but could not here.

“A great spot to stay just outside of Goderich”
+Classic motel close to Goderich. The owner was friendly and kind. The room was clean. The WiFi was strong, lots of tv channels, comfortable beds, good water pressure in the shower, great A/C unit, outdoor seating, and overall my daughter and I felt safe and welcome there.
−It was exactly what I expected. Nostalgia at a reasonable price.

+It was closer to downtown and clean inside the room well equipped kitchen
−People usually stay at a place for two basic things: a comfortable bed for a good night’s sleep and a clean, proper shower. Unfortunately, the bed was very shaky and uncomfortable, and the shower water felt extremely oily and greasy, almost as if you were bathing in oil. I suspect the water tank may not have been cleaned properly. On top of that, there was a strong, unpleasant cow-dung-like smell every evening. After 6 PM, it was so bad that it was difficult to even walk around or spend time in the room comfortably.

“Lovely, welcoming, comfortable stay.”
+Mattress was fabulous, super comfy. Bathroom was new and spotless.
−No charger outlet at one side of the bed. We used a portable charger.
