“Friendly and welcoming. Lovely open log fire in the bar. Room was warm and comfortable.”
+The room and location met my expectations. There was no breakfast available which I knew when booking. I was referred to The Cambrian for breakfast. Enjoyed an evening meal of fish and chips at The Ship which was excellent. The kitchen at the Ship is not open every evening unfortunately. I was given a key for the front door, allowing me to come and go as I pleased.

+Almost All. Food was very good, and advice about alternative eating places was also very good. The only criticisms, which I hope will be taken as constructive, are below.
−Stairs to Rooms 1 & 2. I have a mobility issue, and the handrail was a bit short, although I acknowledge that it was sturdy. Particularly at the top, another 2 feet or so would have been a big help. I came across this problem at my parents' house when my elderly Grannie visited, and it's not easy for able-bodied younger people to realise some of the issues for those with reduced mobility. A chair would also have helped in Room 1 - the window sill was fine as a seat in Room 2. Otherwise, I loved my few days there, and hope to be back.

“Nice place for a one night stay”
+Room was clean, shower was great. Food at the pub was fantastic. Steak was amazing. Lovely staff. Comfy bed.
−Upstairs toilet or water system was very noisy. Kept us awake most of the night as it was noisy every 20 mins. Needs to be looked at. Some noise from the traffic, but not too bad.

−Noisy room. Masserater on toilet working through out the night. Hit my head on a beam (I am five foot five)

“Quirky Room Convenient to the Coastal Path”
+Great location for walking the coastal path. Check in and out was very easy.
−The layout was odd and a bit cramped. I am 5'8" and bumped my head on a cross beam in the shower. The room itself did was clean and felt like a refuge when we stepped in, but the pub it was associated with did not feel updated and seemed a bit run down.
