“Excellent”
+The location is superb. This is a fantastic place to stay. It is the very opposite of places like Holiday Inn and Premier Inn. This is a proper Inn. The staff were genuine, warm and friendly - real people!

+Such an incredible team who made us feel so welcome and made my partner’s bday really special by going the extra mile. Thank you so so much for that he appreciated it so much. The room was so comfortable, the view over the harbour was just stunning to wake up to, and the live music on in the evening of our stay was so much fun and made the night really special and memorable. The pub downstairs is such a great atmosphere with super lovely staff and brilliant decor. Would definitely stay here again if returning to Folkestone!!

“Nice location but a challenging week.”
+The location was excellent, right on the shore front and close to tourist attractions. The room was nice and also very clean.
−The pub was open until 10.30pm. on one of the nights it was 11pm and it was very noisy. we had to wait for the noise to die down before attempting to sleep. We new prior that parking was going to be challenging but that's an understatement. We were constantly moving the car and dare not go out in the car because we new we would not be able to park. But if you arrive by train and get a taxi to the hotel that would probably be a better option.

“Comfortable room with everything I needed and a great view over the harbour.”
+The location; overlooking the harbour and a short stroll from nice shops and bars. The room was comfortable and nicely furnished. The shower was great. Never stayed in a pub before, it was fun to hear the music and people from below.

“A lovely pub with welcoming staff who couldn’t do enough for us”
+A beautiful location on a beautiful cobbled street with adequate parking , this is permit only between 8-8 but over night you’re fine to park there. The pub was super cosy and well stocked with drinks with a good variety. The accommodation was more than adequate for an over night stay. It was myself , husband and our 12 year old daughter. The beds had clean bedding, tea, coffee and breakfast snacks. Plenty of towels and body wash. We stayed here to get the shuttle to Calais and this was 10 minutes from the pub. You’re able to leave early and post the keys in an internal box and exit by the back door. Trish and her staff couldn’t do enough for us. We arrived too late for food. But Trish called a take away for us and provided plates and cutlery and allowed us to eat in the pub rather than our room. They clearly have regulars which is always what I look for because if people keep coming back you know you’re in a good place.
−The only downside and this isn’t really a criticism the bathroom was very snug and the shower temp was a little temperamental. But for an en suite bathroom it really wasn’t bad. It was clean and suited our needs for the night just fine.

“Just what was needed”
+The walk in to the bar was light friendly and easy. Staff were polite and friendly. Room was very comfortable and clean and nicely laid out. Had everything that is needed, bed, kettle, tv, bathroom. Separate access to the guest area via separate door so can come and go as you need to.
−Honestly I found nothing wrong with the property.
