“Lovely hotel”
+Lovely family room with 2 large bedrooms and a gorgeous bathroom with walk in shower. Stunning views over the water. Nice facilities with coffee machine, milk and mugs etc. Very clean.
−I think we might have been over some sort of generator so it was a little louder than I expected but it didn’t ruin the stay.

+Room was great, plenty of space for us to dry off after the biblical wind and rain. Food was good for dinner and breakfast and the staff were friendly and welcoming

“Appledore is great!”
+Great location, lovely staff, great breakfast. Had one Dinner there which was excellent. The property is very old, modernised well and furnished in a quirky style, but it works.
−Parking is a little difficult, turned out ok for us, but we were very end of season. Would probably be much tougher in season.

“Lovely friendly convenient place to stay in this area. Food was great as well!”
+Location right by the sea. Once you know where the car park is, it's so easy to get around.
−Little snug getting round the bed. Mattress could do with renewing.

+Location excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very clean. Loved how it was still very traditional yet had been updated but keeping it's original character. Food exceptional. Shower big and hot. Lovely toiletries and tea coffee & milk provided. Comfy bed. Towels soft & clean.
−Wouldn't say dont like, more of an observation. The room was booked as a 'king' room. We stayed in room 2. However much smaller than other king rooms we have stayed in. Not much space in and around the bed. No seating or vanity area. Very big Delinge air conditioning unit in room, with external hose pipe having to hang out of window. Very noisy and leaked. Appreciate hotel trying to balance the heat and provide air conditioning but in a small room just wasn't practical. It was so loud you couldn't hear the TV.. I do wonder if booking. Com has named the room a 'king' room when in fact in reality I would say it's an average double room, with. No seating or vanity area provided.

“Fabulous location in delightful town and enjoyed our stay. Food in dining area was lovely with views”
+Room was stylish and bathroom was great. Good shower.
−Soft pillows but that seems prevalent in the UK.
