“Fantastic stay at The Rockside”
+I had a fantastic stay at The Rockside in Scarborough. The hotel is excellent throughout , spotlessly clean, in a great location, and with such a friendly and welcoming team. The breakfast was superb with plenty of choice and everything was really well presented. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Rockside to anyone visiting Scarborough. I'll definitely be staying again. A brilliant hotel and a lovely experience from start to finish. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
−I genuinely couldn’t find fault with anything during my stay.

“Great stay at Scarborough!”
+Room - room is great and comfortable Breakfast - outstanding! View - we didn't have much of a view to be honest as we're not facing the sea. But it's okay, easy enough to go out and enjoy the view which is just exactly opposite the hotel. It's also walking distance to the town.
−I wish we have a sea view but it doesn't change the fact that we were offered a good room, the breakfast is great too.

+Great location, with a wonderful view of North Bay, easily walkable to all coastal parts of Scarborough, including the open air theatre. It is sort of a cross between an airbnb and a hotel. There is a communal sitting room on the ground floor that can be used at certain times of the day with self-service drinks available, but it doesn't have quite the atmosphere of a full-service hotel. Not a problem for us....
−The side of the bed closest to the door was a bit "dipped".

+The accommodation was very clean and well presented. The breakfast was of good quality with very friendly and helpful staff.
−The shower was quite compact and it would have benefitted from a shower tidy to put toiletries in. The water temperature couldn't be adjusted. The whb was low down and the bathroom cabinet was way too high so I couldn't see in the mirror. One of the bedside lights didn't work so needs repairing.
