“A very pleaaant place to stay - not so much if you’re up and down in the night!”
+The location was excellent as was the breakfast. The place, including the shared bathrooms, was very clean. The staff was courteous and friendly.
−The shared bathrooms (there were many) were not on the same floor as the bedrooms.

“Cosy, pleasant, handy location for exploring Cardiff.”
+The whole house and bedroom and bathrooms were very clean. It was warm and pleasant, with a radiator to turn on when needed in the bedroom. The kitchen was organised well. The location was very close to the train station and the castle, shops, etc. The television in our bedroom was connected to Netflix. Abi/Charlie were very helpful with my questions on WhatsApp. The staff member in the kitchen was nice and helpful the morning we were leaving. We were able to leave our suitcases on our last day while we explored Cardiff, and collect them in the evening.
−There were no bathmats for the showers and I think only the one hairdryer in the house, attached to the wall on one floor - just a minor inconvenience. The bed was quite low to the ground and my back was sore, so getting up and down was a bit of a pain, literally! We asked for an extra towel (for my hair) and the cleaning lady had several questions about it before providing said towel. Tissues provided in the bedrooms would be useful. Nothing major, but these things would just have added to our comfort during our stay.

+Great location, clean, warm and cozy, met all of my needs. Abi and Charlie were the best hosts and even let me store my luggage for the day after checking out. I would definitely book again.

+Great location (10 mins from station) Great communication with staff/ owner. Loved the selection of books lying around. Was pleased that my room had a window. There were plenty of toilets and shower rooms (shared facilities), really amazingly clean though. Quiet at night, I could sleep really well, despite pub around the corner.

“Nice, clean, well-located place to stay!”
+Perfect location - easily reachable from the trainstation by foot. Nice view onto a canal and the Stadium. The shared bathroom was very clean. You can go in and close it from inside. So while you are in there, you have "your own" toilet, sink, showercabin. The room was okay. There was USB and an UK-electric sockets right at my bed with a little shelf to put my phone on it. Lighting: One small light source at this shelf above the bed, and a big light on the ceiling First night (October) it was cold, so I asked on Whatsapp for an extra blanket next morning, when they told me that they turn up heating from that day (and apologized for last night's cold). After that I did not have a problem with the cold. I could adjust my own heater. The breakfast looked great, but I did not have it, because I had to leave early every morning.:) There is a kitchen and a dining area that you can use with others. There are tea and instant (!) coffee options available all time for everyone. A shared fridge. You can cook in the kitchen until 20.30. Hosts are nice.
−The room was okay, but small and it did not have space to comfortable pack my stuff out of the bag. The shower water (even after the heating started) was not hot. It was warm enough completely to shower with, but - for my taste - could have been hotter. (Maybe they adjust it during the season, I dunno)

“Nice place with lovely atmosphere”
+The place was clean and lovely and was very close to the center and the train station. I liked the fact that the kitchen area encouraged interesting conversations among guests preparing their breakfasts. I loved the idea of sharing access to Netflix for guests and I am grateful for being able to leave my luggage for a few hours before I got to my train.

“This place gave us a space for our relationship to blossom”
+My girlfriend and I are in a long distance relationship, we have anxiety and the whole just use a pin and come in was so much easier. We spent most the time in the room just watching TV, didn't get any hassle for being in the room all day either Created some beautiful memories. I really appreciate the stay we had, been more than once already :)
−We closed the window at night and couldn't open it after, was a hot day and had no key. Was too anxious to contact staff. Not really a problem with the hotel, more so wishing a key was in the room maybe just incase because it was quite hot and worse outside :)
