“Friendly, homely, welcoming!”
+Carol is an excellent host, breakfast was stunning. We felt really comfortable and at ease using the lounge area available to relax and have a night cap at the end of the day. We had everything needed, if we return to the area we would definitely look to stay there again, thank you x

+Prompt replies to queries. Very welcoming host Clare. Accommodation beautifully presented and clean. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast a real treat with locally sourced ingredients. All in all a thoroughly relaxing "retreat".

−I thought I'd booked an ensuite but had to share a bathroom. Breakfast was a bit haphazard but it was very early in the morning.

+We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The accommodation was perfect,spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Our host was absolutely lovely, so welcoming and friendly, and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The full English breakfast was beautiful, freshly cooked, and the perfect way to start the day. Thank you for such a fantastic stay. We would highly recommend this accommodation and would happily return in the future.

“I can’t thank Clare enough. Highly recommend The retreat to anyone”
+The property was lovely and clean, and Clare made me very welcome. The room was lovely and the bath room was spacious. Clare even kindly took me to the wedding venue. I was leaving early and didn’t want to put her to too much trouble. But she had left me cereal for my breakfast for the morning, when I got back from the wedding . Clare is very thoughtful and the retreat is a really lovely place to stay

“10/10 can’t wait to come back!”
+Great location, we had an event at Silverstone circuit, which was about 5 minutes down the road, lovely quiet village, Claire and her husband were absolutely brilliant hosts, the property was clean and comfortable throughout, the garden is a lovely sun trap in the summer, Tea and coffee station in your room was very well stocked (proper coffee not those little sachet things!) Claire cooked a lovely full English breakfast too in the morning which really set us up for our day, we would definitely recommend and we will return in the future.
