+Rooms and beds were comfortable. Decor was really good. Only stayed one night so didn't get chance to enjoy the bar. Breakfast was good just what's req to cure a hangover.
−All good

+Loved the open fires, friendly staff, wonderful breakfast
−The bed was uncomfortable, lumpy mattress could do with a renovation with new furnishings

“Great location, attentive staff, minimum noise - just a couple niggles”
+The breakfast & coffee was excellent & decent quality & the staff helpful @ attentive.
−I booked well in advance, ended up paying more than I expected & ended up with a room on the ground floor that people on the dining room could see in if the lights were on, a room which allowed dogs (I have a dog allergy) a blocked basin (one of the staff admitted that a previous occupant had flagged this up) & a low bed & a rain effect shower without the benefit of a shower cap so if you get your hair wet whether you want it wet or not !!

“Perfect place to relax in the countryside”
+Gorgeous place to stay, facilities are top notch, rooms are fabulous - designed beautifully with every detail thought through. Surrounded by rolling hills and fields, a peaceful place to cozy up for a pub lunch and relax. Thoroughly recommend.

“Very disappointed especially after reading other reviews. Don’t go here if you are foodies!”
−Rooms not as luxurious as the pictures portray. Very limited menu and expensive. Ran out of certain food /beer/ cider/ wine on a Saturday night!! Breakfast mediocre
