“We use Free Sprit pubs a lot and this was not up to their usual high standards. At no point did anyone ask how our stay”
+Nice country pub
−The website was misleading regarding breakfast. Turned out breakfast only available at weekends. All we got was a box with stale croissants in it and nowhere to sit properly to eat.

“Nice rooms over lovely pub”
+Nice clean room and a proper and busy pub downstairs which is a nice change from a regular hotel. Great food and beer in pub. Nice friendly staff. Good choice for in room breakfast (if early start before pub opens).
−Staff at first said couldn't book a table for dinner as too busy. When I asked if they could reserve a table in bar they said no. I explained it was only for 2 and it was getting late and had been a long day. They did agree in the end which was nice but when I came down at 7 45 it was only half full anyway so just a bit surprised they were so reticent to reserve a table. Not a major problem or criticism but a tiny bit annoying. Staff overall were lovely..

“Wonderful!”
+Location idyllic, staff exceptional. Food excellent. The only slight problem we experienced was rectified almost immediately and very professionally. Highly recommend and would stay here again.
−Mattress was unacceptable but staff were unaware until we brought it to their attention. They immediately ordered a new one and provided a temporary solution in the mean time.
