10.0“Charming, comfortable and convenient”
+The Raeburn was both so charming and comfortable. We absolutely loved our room and our 4 night stay. The hotel is in the best neighborhood to stay in in the city - so close to fantastic bars, restaurants, shops and transportation. There’s also a great restaurant and pub in the lobby that we had dinner and drinks at. We’ve already decided to stay at The Raeburn for our next trip to Edinburgh.
−Loved everything about it

8.0+Beautiful large rooms.
−Noisier than I expected. Some street noise but unexpected noise from other rooms (doors banging) and from the music downstairs in the bar.

8.0+Located in a beautiful and lightly buzzing street in edinburgh. Quite a cozy and magical stay.
−Wished there were warmer lights in the bathroom. It was very brightly lit at night which can cause a headache for someone who.cannot handle sudden brightness after waking up from mid sleep.

9.0“Very nice place to stay. Pricey, but quite nice.”
+Room was pretty and spacious and clean. Loved the restaurant and bar on site. Kathryn was excellent.
−The patio and bar was loud late into the night. It was fun to have it nearby, but loud in room.

10.0“A truly special experience! We loved staying at The Raeburn.”
+We absolutely loved The Raeburn, which is beautiful inside and out. Room 1 and its en suite are sensational. The bedroom is so spacious and considered, and the roll-top bath, separate walk-in shower and huge window in the bathroom was a real treat. It was great having the tea and coffee facilities neatly tucked away and ready for use, as well as the water, crisps and sweet treats for which there was no charge. The building is lovely and Stockbridge is a perfect area to stay, full of charm, with the option of glorious walk down the Leith to Dean Village (don't miss it!), or a short stroll to the Botanic Gardens. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and I very much liked the way locals enjoyed the hotel bar (as did we) and the place truly felt like part of the community. We also enjoyed tasty breakfasts and a Sunday roast, which was delicious. We found it easy to get up to George St (by cab, and once we tried the bus when no taxis were available, which was fun) and from there walk up to the Old Town, we preferred to walk downhill on the return journey! We had a wonderful time and I cannot recommend this hotel and its location highly enough.

10.0“Superb! It was wonderful!”
+Room 1 and its en suite are absolutely beautiful. I loved the spaciousness of both the bedroom and the wonderful bathroom with roll-top bath and separate large walk-in shower, plus huge window. The provision of water, tea and coffee-making equipment and crisps and sweet treats free of charge was very nice. The staff were friendly and helpful. The building is lovely and the location is fabulous. Stockbridge is a great area with the amazing Village of Dean a walk down the Water of Leith and the Botanic Gardens a short stroll away too. It is easy to get up to George St and from there walk into the Old Town, but I was glad not to be staying right in the centre, especially as the Festival was on during our visit and the city was thronged with people.
−Nothing really. Perhaps the pillows! I think they were hypoallergenic and that meant they weren't as comfy as the down ones I use at home.
