“Fantastic, Will definitely stay here again if we return!”
+Property was perfect for a city break, located 5 minutes or less from the Vatican, room was clean and had all the needed facilities for a city break! From the outside it looks like a piece of Rome with big solid Roman type doors but once inside and you’ve navigated the unique lift! It’s very modern looking. The check in routine was unique never had experienced checking in over WhatsApp before, so that may scare a few!
−Nothing stands out that we didn’t like, we were only there to sleep then we were back out around Rome.

“Disappointing and inconvenient”
+Location
−Not a proper hotel - this was not clear from the booking process. Staff not onsite regularly. The room was basically dirty and needed a refresh. The floor was absolutely filthy. The housekeeping was only available at certain times. One day no toilet paper was left so we had to improvise which was difficult with no bidet! Only one set of keys made it difficult to come and go separately. Bidet non operational. Bed uncomfortable and old. Sheets weren’t changed in the five days. Overall quite disappointing. I will not be recommending anyone stay there.

“Great place for a short visit to the Vatican and nearby!”
+Fabulous location! Just minutes from the Vatican. We actually walked everywhere, even to the train station when we departed for Florence (tip: don't try that in summer)! The bed and pillows were very comfortable, even for me, a "picky" sleeper, and the neighborhood was quiet too. We were apprehensive about the remote check-in, but it worked like a charm, and Pierpaulo was very responsive and kind. We're glad we chose the Pope's Window for our short visit to Rome!

“Great location. Good host, but a few issues to improve”
+Location. Size of room.
−No glass cups for a drink. The cups provided were paper cups and very small, almost just big enough for a double espresso. Kettle provided for tea I guess but nothing to make it in. Maintenance was a bit shabby and some areas scruffy. The shower pressure was good with the hand held hose but the drencher (Top bit) was just a trickle.

“Highly recommend”
+Highly recommend The Popes window. The room was basic but all you need for a stay. The beds were comfortable. The air conditioning was great. We were there when the temperatures were up to 40°c. The room was very clean and cleaned everyday. The host was so easy to contact and answered straight away. There is a good wardrobe, 2 beside lockers with storage space. A safe in the wardrobe and a small fridge. There is also a kitchen in the hall available with a microwave and fridge. This room was only a 5 minute walk from St. Peters square and lots of lovely reasonable restaurants around it. Train station is a 5 minute walk and you can get a bus outside the door. Taxis also outside the door. We will definitely stay again. Thank you Pierpaulo.
