“Acceptable, not too far out of town, but would benefit from a bit of TLC investment.”
+Located a little outside Dunstable but within a 15 minute walk.
−Infrequent bus service. A local pub with adequate but not good facilities as they are a bit dated, basic and in need of upgrading. Broken floor tiles in the bathroom, broken mirror glass and a shower that was in need of an upgrade. A security light that was intrusive overnight, but that may be a regulatory requirement. My room faced the main road but had good double glazing so that wasn’t a noise problem. However, had threadbare curtains that let all the street and morning light into the room.

+Bed was decent.
−Room was a bit odd, only one light in the room that worked and it was close to the window, so it was a bit difficult to see in the room. Instructions for getting to breakfast were confusing.

+A group of Royal Navy Veterans and their wives stayed here this weekend as it was near the venue to celebrate a 50th birthday party. It was also near the cemetery where we went to pay our respects to our Shipmate. The Pheasant is very basic and more suited to workmen using the area. Breakfast was good as was the overall price.
−No hand towels in the room. No chair in the room and no full mirror except the one in the bathroom. The bar staff were not helpful when we asked for help. It was just very basic.

“If we where notified a party would be going on downstairs pub i wouldn't of booked”
+Nice size room
−None of the doors had working handles so to keep our room door closed we had to lock the door. The share bathroom really need attention mould, toilet seat very lose other guest showered and left puddles on floor , bathroom door had sharp broken lock on the back with no working handle. We had to leave early for the day breakfast was only offered after 8am and nothing was offered before so left the place hungry
