7.0“Just a place to stay, nothing special, good for a night before riding the TT Course.”
+Was able to find parking in front of the hotel, they have an elevator to get to the room, as I had a heavy back.
−Didn't like the check in, no one was there, you use a phone and get a code to access the key. While there was an elevator, it was a little scary to ride, as it was jerky. Finally met a person that worked there in the morning, but breakfast was pretty weak.

9.0“really great stay thanks”
+The lady at breakfast was lovely, helpful and hard working. The room was huge. Even though we had to collect the key from a sister hotel, We were advised and the booking in was quick.
−being very picky here but would prefer to have hot water to make my own tea not pre made in a canister.

7.0“Classic seafront hotel”
+No frills place right on seafront. Beautiful sunrise. Spacious double room and bathroom with good shower. New lift. Complementary simple breakfast. I made an error with my booking but they dealt with it.
−Single duvet on my double bed. Soft mattress and uncomfortable pillows. Hotel and room very hot, but the winows opened. No mirror by dressing table to dry hair. No gluten-free bread. Very good value though

9.0“Excellent hotel with lovely, friendly staff. A few niggles, but overall we were very happy with our stay,”
+The rooms were spotless and very spacious. The staff were lovely, helpful and friendly. The Penta is located about a 20 minute walk to the town centre, we didn’t mind this, there are frequent buses and it is a lovely walk on a nice day. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch, they offered all we needed and we were very happy.
−We couldn’t switch the heater off in the bathroom in one of the rooms. It wasn’t sorted until the day before we left. Reception isn’t 24 hours, it wasn’t a problem for us as there is a phone to contact the sister hotel. Steep steps at the front, which were slippery when wet which is a shame because it wouldn’t be suitable for my mum who is a wheelchair user. Rooms are only serviced every other day, we had to request extra tea bags and milk because they didn’t leave enough.
