“Enteraining for all the wrong reasons”
+The location Warm bedroom Clean beds
−Where do we start…. Greeted by a telling off from a rude short older gentlemen, who seemed to be in charge… Barked instructions at us re the key/ entrance info stormed off we followed One of our two rooms were not ready, we advised we were happy to wait but apparently there was only him despite numerous staff downstairs Two of our party were led to a separate building past the staff lockers and advised entrance to the main would not be possible His overall rudeness was immense Every question was met with a curt and very abrupt response, no apologies or pleasantries Clearly in the wrong Job The icing on the cake was the bondage bed in one of the rooms, this room was advised as slightly more premium, not sure if that was because of the extra kink The location was great, recommend it for entertainment value if nothing else! No check out Info, called the number, no answer, txt & left the keys on a table!

“Not worth it.....”
+Location is good.
−1. We travelled as a family of 3, 2 adults and 1 child. We were sold the room as a family room and I requested a small bed for my child. When we got there, there were no provisions for a child and he had to stay in our double bed with us. 2. Alarm system outside our room was going off all night and we got a maximum of 2 hours sleep. I contacted the owners at around 1am and even now haven't received any reply. 3. Shower floor flooded underneath the tiles so the floor is spongey with mouldy water coming up through the missing grout when stood upon. 4. The price. The room at best is a £60 room. We paid almost £170 for the 1 night. 5. I didn't have much interaction with the staff.

−Be aware that if you return to the hotel after the pub shuts it was quite dark by the back enterance so make sure to have your phone torch or a pocket sized torch to find your way to the room.

“Lovely pub, very helpful staff, and comfortable accommodation.”
+We experienced really exceptional customer service at The Peacock, truly above and beyond, for which we are extremely grateful. There were a few issues to navigate that were beyond the pub's control, but we were reassured and well looked after. Vicky was very helpful, even offering us a drink while we got everything sorted. The room was clean and comfortable, in a quiet but very convenient location on a side street, and we slept well. Thanks so much again for all your help.

−Had booked an overnight stay months ago and even rung the pub to check my booking a week before then arrived on the day after doin a charity walk to find thy had no evidence of my booking and hadn't even got a room !! The staff wern,t helpfull at all and not even apologetic!!! And I had paid upfront !!

−Member of staff who showed us to our room He left us outside closed the pub turned off the lights and went straight 9.45!!!!
