“It was good, however a bit noisy sometimes. I had to study for an oral presentation.”
+The location was good, safe. I felt comfortable. It was close to train and many places to buy food
−I arrived around 1am and because I booked last minute (one friend cancelled me to stay in his house) I couldn't get inside easily. The next the receptionist gave me the room but she didn't explain me about where I can find the laundry, kitchen, etc.

“The nunnery, a hidden haven in the heart of Melbourne, if you like weed smoking french arrogance”
+Great place , clean . Girl at the desk was so friendly given my situation at the time I checked in so she made it very pleasant
−Couple of Other guest whispering crap behind back. The don't know me nor have they even spoken to me before but yet it give them the right to talk about me , ..and all because I had stuff to do in regards to work so I was in the hallway on my phone most of the night due to overseas requirements via emails , didn't want to wake anyone in the dorms so that's the reason I sat in the hallway .. the dirty looks I got and the arrogance of some guests were something that wouldn't be attractive to a nice place like that ..that blonde girl with the resting bitch face needs to get her attitude in order also . She alone was nearly the reason I didn't want my team of workers we fly in to work on the F1 Grand prix staying there .so she could have cost the owner the price of 12 overseas guests staying January to April with her attitude alone ..if shes staff she's in the wrong profession to look down her nose at guests like she did , awful pity as she's very beautiful but her scowl ruins her good looks, not trying to cause any offence in anyway saying that she is a pretty person just saying it how it is.

“Worst stay meant to be for a great time.”
+I did not like very much of this place. The only thing I liked about this place was some of the staff members as they were helpful. The other side to it was the location. Just outside the CBD.
−First the bathroom on the top floor did not have any hot water so having a morning shower was impossible and to stay hygienic. It made the experience felt so aweful that I could not bare the simple services were not provided. Secondly, the room smelled very toxic and undisturbing and I made an official complaint to staff that day. The room had a scent of marijuana (cannabis) by two fellow members of the room. Nothing was done about it by staff when reported. I could not reenter the room until the scent was clear. Lastly, the amount of noise and snoring coming from other people who should not be sleeping in the dorm. People need their sleep and the amount of people that serious sleep apnea should not be accepted in a dorm and that is including people who talk in their sleep. I would never recommend this place to anyone unless these issues get fixed. I would also expect my money back due to all the necessary services that they are meant to provide was not provided.

“Good value for money. Hosts could do more to provide more info about the best in Melbourne.”
+Friendly staff, nice layout. Clean linnen. Like the little nooks and heritage feel. Location is great.
−Reception looks messy. They don't have current or enough information of all the woderful things that happen in Melbourne. It was Fringe Festival and just had one brochure buried under a pen holder. As Fringe artist and them a building one block from Fringe HQ that was appaling.
