“Comfortable central stay”
+Walking distance to the city centre, comfortable bed and the house was pretty quiet.
−Very very minor thing but more milk for hot drinks would have been great.

+The bed was comfortable. The room and bathroom were clean.
−There was no fridge in the room for storing milk or refridgerables. I had a limited choice of tea and coffee, and no teaspoon was provided for stirring! For a double room, it was very small, and the bathroom was like a shoebox. It was tedious needing to key in a code for using the bathroom. Housekeeping seemed limited to emptying the bin, not making the bed or changing towels. I couldn't get any terrestrial stations on the TV. The wifi password provided in the room was wrong. In a panic, I rang Claire (my call wasn't answered), then noted that it said that any calls (outside of informing there was a fire) would incur a £50 fee ! Claire's curt response via email basically told me to turn the TV on & off. Thankfully Netflix worked. A nice touch would be at least providing visitors with proper instructions re TV & Wifi and a map of Cambridge given guests are out of towners and overseas visitors like myself. I wouldn't stay again or recommend.

“An absolute nightmare!”
+To be honest, only the location but this place is still a scam.
−The Norna is an absolute scam, period. I booked the place via Booking.com seeing an assortment of photos that was available. Was only told I was given the attic to stay in after making payment. I was travelling with an elderly parent with mobility issues and luggages and we had to climb 3 flights of stairs. Requested for a room change if possible but was refused by the host. Asked for a partial refund if the request can't be accomodated. Also refused by the host with no alternative options given. This place also has no kitchen, the access to the topmost floor bathroom is also steep. A few customer support staff of Booking.com also tried to negotiate and ask but she flatly refused. Totally unresponsive host who cuts your calls when you reach out and has no sense of courtesy or humanity. Absolutely the worst experience. Better options near the railway station include Ibis Hotel, Station Hotel, Clayton Hotel. Don't fall for the cheap price advertised. You're better off spending a little more for these better options near the Cambridge Railway Station.

“I was not happy”
+I was not happy. I was not informed about staying on three floors no lift my daughter and l struggled with my suitcase. No staff to attend to you.1 was located to a room with external bathroom with my daughter with step so dangerous my daughter nearly fall twice .I couldn’t close the door to have bath. this is not the information I read from booking. Com my daughter was upset. I had to move out of this accommodation no apologies, no refund only insult text Customer service very poor . My advice to the elderly no lift

“Séjour agréable et confortable. Bon emplacement. La chambre correspondait bien à la description.”
+Bon emplacement car proche de la gare. Belle vue depuis la fenêtre du deuxième étage. Chambre assez spacieuse, avec quelques tiroirs. Bonne literie. Une petite bouilloire et quelques sachets de café, thé, et lait sont mis à disposition. Le petit lavabo avec eau froide et eau chaude dans la chambre a été apprécié, d'autant plus que la salle d'eau privative est sur le pallier.
−Une seule chaise pour une chambre pour deux personnes : prévoir d'ajouter une chaise, pliante pour ne pas perdre de place. L'évacuation de l'eau du lavabo qui est dans la chambre est très lente : il faudrait probablement nettoyer le siphon et déboucher le tuyau. L'ajout d'un support pour poser une serviette serait appréciable. Pas de chauffage dans la petite salle d'eau privative sur le pallier; comme il n'a pas fait trop froid lors de notre séjour, cela a été, mais cela doit être difficile en hiver. Heureusement l'eau de la douche est chaude.
