+Whilst the decor was a little dated our stay was great. Staff helpful and friendly. You can't get breakfast at The Maynard but their sister hotel on the corner was just minutes away, and you got a discount for being guests at The Maynard. Staff/Service excellent. The only thing i would say is my friend was unable to take a bath or shower as there was not a slip mat to assist in their safety.

+I stayed in a twin room with my granddaughter for 2 nights in a twin room which had a double and a single bed. We were very impressed with our room as it was very clean and spacious. The property seemed to be well maintained and I was able to park outside after purchasing a permit for £10 for 2 nights. My only concern was that there wasn’t a staff member present later in the day or first thing in the morning and I had to just leave the key on the desk when I left just before 9am, checkout is 10am.

+The Maynard is a very atmospheric hotel. Our room was spacious clean and comfortable, a perfect refuge at the end of the day. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was good. On our arrival we were greeted by a very friendly woman.

+Lovely, large room. Very friendly staff at reception. Note that the walls are a bit thin between rooms and flats in the house next door. Otherwise, perfect.

“2 night stay 5/7/25”
+Had a 2 night stay, checked in at 12.15 was offered parking permit £10 for 2 days which was a bonus. We were in a a room with 2 single beds which was on the top floor, 66 steps. The room was clean with ample storage and a well stocked tea tray. The bathroom was modern and clean with good toiletries provided. Only negative was could hear the people in the next room and could hear an extractor fan from another room whenever they used their bathroom. Would stay again if on a lower floor.
