room wasn't any thing like the photos and it didn't have any towels or pillows, after calling the customer support we stood around for 40 minutes waiting for our new room number, the new room was ever smaller with a smaller bed. And the lock on the "private toilet" had been smashed off the door.

There was NO HOT WATER IN THE SHOWER. Room was grungy and sound proofing almost non existent. We weren't expecting 5 star accommodation but this was way below par.

We needed a one night stay that was clean, safe and handy to local restaurants and pubs. This ticked all the boxes.

Marks hotel is disgusting, bathroom and fridge had visible mould. The blankets/linen were stale smelling and the surfaces dusty and grimy. Hotel was noisy with the pub next door, was unsafe in the car park, drunk guys loitering and making comments to the young girls staying there. Something to keep in mind is this is a "long stay" hotel so there are people living there... and activities there that are... next door to a hotel. Not family friendly. Do not recommend it, will never stay there again, and would dissuade anyone from staying there. The pictures are not an accurate depiction of this run down, dirty establishment.

Online checking was available that was sent directly to my mobile phone with code access etc. Making it easier to check in at any time. Only odd thing was we had a private bathroom but it was separate to the actual sleeping room so you had two separate codes, but it wasn't an issue

One towel had stains on it, sheets had stains, front entrance was discusting... dead bugs everywhere, stairs needed a real good vacumm, at night there was no light outside was very dark and felt unsafe. Staff member I spoke too before checking in was very rude on the phone. Told 2 diffrent check in times... few mins proir to arrival was told they didnt know of room was ready or not or even if it had been cleaned... was told to ask the cleaner's. Won't stay again.
