10.0“A hidden gem where everything feels thoughtful, calm, and quietly well designed.”
+The street is low-profile, which makes the place even more charming. A hidden gem. You could easily spend days in the indoor garden, surrounded by shade, water, and calmness. Everything feels carefully considered, from the styling to the placement. The breakfast changes from day to day, and the staff are always attentive and happy to help.
−There is nothing to argue at, the place ranks high in taste and placement. Just maybe coffee, an investment in a real espresso machine would be a dream (but you can find it easily at coffee shops around)

10.0“Amazing stay in La Paz!”
+Such a beautiful and peaceful stay! The staff was very friendly. We loved the breakfast! Excellent stay. Everything was very close to the outpost and it was easy to get to nearby restaurants. Playa Balandra was a 25 min drive.
−My husband and I wake up very early everyday even on vacation. I would say let the guests make their own coffee since there’s a coffee maker outside of their window. It was hard to find coffee in town that opened before 7AM.

10.0“Relaxing stay”
+The rooms and property are decorated tastefully which makes for peaceful stay. Comfortable beds. I enjoyed relaxing in the back garden and having a dip in the pool. It is a short walk for the main areas. There are bicycles for hire which made getting to the closer beaches easier. If I’m ever in La Paz again I would stay here again for sure.
−Very small issue if you were wanting to get out early for day trip etc is that breakfast is from 9am, though on my last day I did ask for breakfast at 8:45am as I had a bus to catch and this was not an issue.

9.0“A lovely stay with a homely feel”
+Luisa’s property is within easy walking distance to most things and there is free on-road parking if needed. Communication was great and Luisa was always willing to assist with anything needed. The homemade breakfast was great.
−For longer stays you might want more storage space and appliances in the room. For us it sorted our needed perfectly

6.0“Comfortable stay but very peculiar host”
+Decent location on a quieter street. 10min walk to Malecon, although we drove around mostly. Chill set up in the yard with hammock and rooftop. Room was comfy and bathroom was clean. We were able to borrow free beach towels and cooler bag which made our trip to the beach more enjoyable.
−The host is a VERY interesting old lady. She is welcoming but can be a bit controlling at times. I've never experienced this in any of my stays across the world, but here are two instances. Firstly, I'm supportive of no food waste, but having someone repeatedly ask you to let her know if you're not having breakfast is a bit excessive to my opinion. Secondly, her obsession over "water conservation" is a bit off the chart. I'm an environmentalist myself, and we saved water using buckets in the room when the shower is heating up. However, when we were using the shower in the yard, she couldn't help but watch us from afar. She checked in twice to say "don't let the water run like that" when we were waiting for the freezing water to heat up. She explained the region is extremely dry and don't get much rainfall (Yes, but it was also raining that day). She went on and said, "there's no hot water for the shower in the yard", hoping to deter us from using the shower longer. Funny enough, the water did heat up after a minute.
