“Enchanting. One of the most amazing places we have ever stayed at.”
+We checked in late and really didn't know what to expect. James was there to meet us and is an amazing host. He showed us all around and gave us a little history of the house and how it all works today. We wandered all over the house because there is so much to look at everywhere. Because I am a toolmaker machinist, I can truly appreciate his hobby of repairing mechanical clocks. James is an amazing person and the Maybelle is a piece of history.
−The only thing I didn't like about this place is that we didn't stay long enough.

+James makes his guests feel right at home. The history and character of this home will make you feel as if you stepped back in time. James and his wife have lovingly cared for this historic home and you will feel it when you are there. You can even use a skeleton key with glass door knob to lock your room. You will not be disappointed. We will stay there again on our next trip to Pawhuska. Chris and Julie Kelly

+I love staying in historic homes and this one was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. James was a very attentive and responsive host. Watching the sun rise from the porch was a treat! It was just a quick trip - an overnight stay to see the Tallgrass Prairie and Woolaroc - but I would stay here again!

“Exquisite attention to detail!”
+The hosts have done an amazing job creating an historic, classy and comfortable respite on the prairie. The attention to detail at every turn is second to none. James is very personable and accommodating. I can’t add much that hasn’t already been said in all the excellent reviews but I agree with every positive comment by previous reviewers. The 20-minute walk into town takes you through a pretty neighborood with many interesting historic homes. We will definitely return!

+This is a beautiful home!! James is the BEST host! He wants your stay to be all you want it to be! He has bottled water available 24/7 as well as a fully stocked honor bar. The home is clean, bug free and very comfortable!!
