“Walkable to Aviator Nation and the pier with on-site parking. A little stuffy with thin walls.”
+It was walkable (about a mile) to Aviator Nation and the pier. There are restaurants along the walk. The hotel had parking, although I believe the description said only street parking was available.
−As others have mentioned, it was very stuffy in the room with no obvious options to cool it off (if the windows opened, I couldn't figure out how). Also, I could hear the conversation in the next room over.

−There seemed to be a problem in my room with ants !!.. I didn’t realize it until the next morning.. I understand being by the beach sometimes has its issues.. Overall the staff was great and accommodating.. 👍👍

“Great Location, but don't expect any level of customer service”
+Cute and great location but severely overpriced and watch out as the housekeeping staff will try to bill you for amenities you didn't eat (Maybe they got hungry for a snack and did not think the additional charges would be noticed?)! Knowing that the walls are thin, the proprieters proactively give you ear plugs which do NOT drown out your partying neighbors. Front desk was staffed by folks more interested in scrolling their phones than finding solutions to "ridiculous" things like wanting ice! (disclaimer: They did say that if you needed ice, to ask at the front desk!.... the response we received was "we don't have an ice machine!). Staffed hours are from 3:00 to 8:00 PM so god forbid if you need anything beyond those hours....there is a phone number, but I don't think it is actually monitored. Very limited parking. In room 1 the internet is spotty at best and you won't be able to connect to watch movies or anything beyond sending a simple text and no, the front desk won't help you!!! On the plus side, they do give you 4 pillows and the beds are comfortable. They have mini-friges (again, make sure housekeeping doesn't turn it off while you are out and about). The rooms are very cl

“Bad experience”
+nothing
−there is so much noise all the time, I know it’s right beside the road but god I heard people laughing and talking like crazy until 2am. There is no one at the reception. The room was extremely dirty and had a weird smell. No one offered to help me get my bags to my room while I was alone with 2 huge suitcases and 2 big bags. Really don’t know what justifies the price of this motel (not hotel) to be honest. Also no food not even a distributor is crazy.

+The beach is just across the road , my flight got disrupted so I arrived after check in hours but staff set things up for me and all went very well
−It's a bit noisy in the morning from the traffic but by California stranded it's fairly good
