“Lovely accomodation a few miles from Dover”
+Bar/restaurant with accommodation located in a quiet rural area but close to the A2 and only a 10-15 minute drive to the Dover ferries. On site parking is adequate and free. Our room (in a recently restored barn, separate from the pub) was very comfortable, especially with its efficient underfloor heating. A good breakfast was included and our meal in the restaurant was excellent. They have a wide menu ranging from classic pub favorites to original and innovative dishes. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. In fact they went well over and above the call of duty by helping us when we had serious problems in trying to book a ferry crossing, due to the failure of my mobile. We loved our far too short stay in the Lydden Bell.
−Can't think of anything to criticise. Being incredibly picky, it was quite difficult to reach the switch for our bedside lights without getting out of bed.

“Wonderful and comfortable in town location with pleasant atmosphere.”
+Perfectly located for the Market Street Faire. Convenient food to be had as well.
−Very steep staircase to rooms. Not great for older knees with luggage.
