7.0+The bed was comfortable , location was great if your looking to hang out downtown . I got a discount with my genus rewards but I would not have paid $355 a night because there was not a breakfast, hot tub or pool … there were snacks in the room if you came back late at night and hungry but you were charged . They also charge $10 for parking ..friendly staff

9.0“Brings you back to good times.”
+Nice small hotel in downtown. A short drive to bars and restaurants, or a 10- 15-minute walk. It was clean; it looks like they recently updated the rooms. I was worried it would be noisy from the road, but it wasn't. In the room, you have a mini bar with decent prizes, bathrobes, and bottles you can fill with filtered water from the dispenser down the hall. We even had our beds made and fresh towels the next day. That made me feel well taken care of and brought me back to the 90s. I know most hotels now don't offer room service for short stays or charge you extra. The lobby bar is cute, and the staff is very friendly and easygoing.
−We had to pay for parking, but they let our friends park their cars for free for a couple of hours. So we appreciated that.

8.0+Staff is great. Easy to get in and out into town. Great price for the location. Room was kind of small, but it was no big deal. Its got what you need.
−Only hang up was that the bathroom was kinda gross.

9.0+This is a great hotel. It is easily accessible to downtown on foot. There is nothing immediately close by, however, it is a great value. I love the common area. I own my own business and travel in a budget. This is the only affordable hotel in downtown Raleigh.
−There isn’t a restaurant onsite or an exercise room.

10.0“Raleigh’s best little rest stop Gem!”
+I love the unique boutique style decor with nostalgic touches of a slower time, a simpler time! So captivating. Blankets you can take out on a cool evening around the fire pit, incredible bar tenders inside, deelish coffee in the morning…a surprisingly great sleeping mattress, a full Italian restaurant across the street if you don’t plan to order in. ( no restaurant inside) it’s just a perfect rest stop. Loved having a JBL Bluetooth clip inside the room. Loved the chair in the corner perfect for writing or reading! Great cocktails!!! Pet friendly ( and doggy gets a gift ) ($75more tho) I left my pup home😂 it was the best spot for me to gather my peace, so some journaling, some reading, get some sips in and enjoy a Perfect night’s rest! Oh and the best part! 12 pm check out and complimentary drip coffee in the early am!
−No microwave inside my room. $75 fee for small dog.

9.0“Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will look to stay at the Longleaf the next time we are in Raleigh.”
+Enjoyed the staff and the bar downstairs at the end of the workday. The bed was comfortable and the enjoyed the walk in shower. The staff was more the willing to move our room was a bathroom with a tub to one with a walk in shower. The central Raleigh location made it convenient for finding great restaurants in the evening.
−We thought the traffic noise was louder than we expected. We used the earplugs provided on the 2nd night which was a big help.
