“Very disappointed”
+Nothing.
−They were supposed to give us a refund as it was advised that there would be a pool and when we arrived the pool was under construction. We found other accommodation as we it was summer and hot the pool was a must. The front desk said they were going refund us but then they never responded. Terrible customer service.

+Nicer cabin/cottage than expected.
−Only restaurant/bar on property was not good. Bad karaoke going on. I had booked and paid on line and was certainly NOT expecting to be bombarded with time share sales pitches. Very annoying after a long drive.

+The view from the balcony is nice. That’s it.
−The check-in process is absolutely ridiculous and takes an ungodly amount of time. This is especially frustrating and inconvenient when traveling with small children. I drove about 3 hours to come here. To make matters worse, check-in is at a separate location, and I was given the wrong address. I had to call the front desk just to get the correct address, adding even more unnecessary stress and wasted time. On top of all that, the property is partially owned by a timeshare company, and they spend at least 30 minutes trying to sell you something. For the price you pay, this place seriously lacks amenities and doesn’t deliver the level of convenience or value I expected based of the pictures. Once I got to the room I couldn’t even get in because the door code didn’t work. The room didn’t seem very clean, the shampoo & conditioner was already used, there was no extra toilet paper and the roll was already half way gone from previous guests I can only assume. Then they expect you to take your own trash to the dumpster which is whatever but, it’s located alllll the way across the parking lot. Honestly, you’re better off staying somewhere like a Hilton, where you can get better amenities

“Very poor almost went back to office for a refund and go stay somewhere else”
+The wildlife
−Could hear the families in the larger condos all night long ..we couldn't go out on the balcony because of the people near us smoking not only cigarettes but Marijuana the squeek in the ceiling fan at night the couch was not comfy at all .. the bedding seemed very used and had holes in the blanket ..the sheets didnt smell very clean and did not look clean not enough lighting in the parking area at all made walking up to our room difficult at night

“Capital Vacations vouchers”
+The location was perfect. The pool was very nice. The lodging... You can't get better than this.
−When checking in Capital vacations tried to convince us to get a voucher package and told us that it was an AMEX $200 gift card that we could use anywhere. In reality you got vouchers worth $200 and they were around $30 for each attraction/restaurant that you picked from a list. You had to put a $100 down that was refunded after going to a seminar and a tour with a breakfast included. I was able to get my deposit of $100 back.

“We enjoyed our time away from reality”
+We loved being on the deck and looking out at the lake
−Not all kitchen supplies and utensils needed to cook were not available. There was not a skillet or a skillet spatula
