“An utterly disappointing experience marked by untrained staff, poor hospitality, unacceptable delays, and a serious laps”
+Nothing - Another major concern is that a large number of staff members appear to be trainees or new joiners who are unfamiliar with even basic hotel information. Imagine asking staff about the breakfast area or hotel facilities and being told, “We are trainees; we don’t know.” At check-in, nobody explained the available services, breakfast timings, or basic hotel facilities either. This reflects a serious gap in staff training, communication, and guest orientation. Guests should not have to figure out the hotel's basic services themselves or be left without answers because the staff are not adequately trained.
−An Absolute Nightmare - Extremely Disappointing Experience at Baluchi, The LaLiT Mumbai Our experience at Baluchi was nothing short of appalling. What should have been a pleasant dining experience turned into an evening of neglect, unacceptable service, and a deeply concerning incident involving a drink we never ordered. We arrived as a group of three, including a person using a wheelchair, yet were seated at a table meant for two. For 15 minutes, nobody attended to us,not even to offer water. It took us calling out and expressing our frustration for the third time before anyone finally attended to us. Even then, they failed to set a plate for the third person. The most alarming incident came when we ordered Bombay Sapphire with vermouth and were served white wine instead, without informing us or seeking our consent. When confronted, the staff casually replied, “Oh, we thought you would like it.” We are allergic to wine. Serving us an unrequested drink without disclosure could have resulted in a serious health incident. Thankfully, we questioned it and rejected the drink before consuming it. This is not just poor service; it is a serious failure to respect customer safety. The food

“Poor club lounge”
+Location
−I had booked club room with access to the club lounge. Facilities and service in the lounge were well below par. Food was average. Evening cocktails were supposed to be served from 6.30pm onwards. I asked for a beer and was not served till about 10 to 7pm since the drinks trolley was not prepared in advance for the 6.30pm opening time. Also the beer was warm The hotel and fixtures and fittings in the rooms are dated. Power points need updating to accommodate modern needs like USB chargers, etc
