“A little sanctuary I absolutely recommend. Quiet, peaceful and surrounded by nature.”
+The restaurant and the kitchen team were the best. They were not only nice but extra caring. Specially Niwarthana and Uchith. The food was really good. Very tasty and everything was fresh! The dinner menu was very different from what you typically find in Ahangama. It was also a nice change. They also helped me with very specific food I needed for a few days. The room was clean, spacious and quiet. The view of the pool and the monkeys in the trees is just wonderful. It really is a little bubble that feels like a sanctuary. The manager is very considerate and concerned about the costumer's experience. The place is close to everything but also a tucked away. Perfect to go anywhere you want but also be at peace.
−The AC didn't work properly and they didn't seem to be too concerned to fix it. Too bad the menu is the same for breakfast and lunch. Staying a few days, it can feel like repetitive. I wanted to extend my staying but no one was able to tell me if there was a room available. They would tell me to check on booking, but I know there are sometimes cancellations that don't show. Which is exactly what happened, but by the time the manager told me, I had already planned to leave because I couldn't find another place that suited me. Also the restaurant team is much more caring and thoughtful than the hotel team.

“Don’t be misled by their Instagram, disappointing stay!”
−To begin with, there is no full-time staff on site. If you arrive late, it can be quite stressful: the gate is kept locked at night, there's no watchman, no doorbell, and no reception (onsite staff goes away at 5pm). Upon check-in, we were assigned the front room, which felt quite underwhelming. It had very little natural light, no desk or functional workspace, stools for side tables, and an extremely small and uncomfortable mattress with no headboard. The bathroom, in particular, was terrible. It had no separation between the sink, toilet, and shower,so the entire space gets wet when you shower--and there was no room to even place basic toiletries like a toothbrush. To make matters worse, there was a persistent odor due to drainage issues. When we raised this concern, the staff kindly offered to light a candle and treated us to dinner at their restaurant, which we appreciated, but it didn’t resolve the underlying problem. The most significant issue, however, was the lack of basic amenities. When my partner fell ill during our stay, there was no access to something as simple as a kettle or a thermometer. When we asked, the staff on the property didn't make any effort to help us eith
