+Wonderful hotel! Very friendly staff, super evening meal and small but satisfying breakfast buffet. Lovely location. We had the family room and our daughter abosolutely loved what she called the 'princess' bed in the separate room.

“Cosy welcoming pub stay.”

+We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back! The staff were fantastic throughout, and the manager went above and beyond to accommodate our late arrival, which was hugely appreciated. Our room was lovely, set in beautiful surroundings, and the bedding was some of the most comfortable we've ever slept in - we had such a great night's sleep. A gorgeous setting, excellent service, and a truly relaxing stay. We can't wait to return

“Superb location and atmosphere. Excellent food. Friendly helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again.”
+Located in a picturesque village. Very atmospheric. We had a room overlooking the garden which was very pleasant. The room was very comfortable and very clean. The shower room was immaculate. Decor very tasteful. Good quality bedding and towels. The food was excellent. Service was very good and the staff were very pleasant and welcoming.
−The only downside was the temperature of the water to the shower which was extremely hot and the cold supply to the shower didn’t work. We raised this with the hotel and they were going to look into it.

+Amazing location, fab facilities, spotless and we even were allowed to leave our mountain bikes safely inside overnight .. ALL staff members amazing thank you
−Nothing .. there is nothing to dislike .. a couple of our party were initially disappointed there was not ‘cooked’ traditional cooked breakfast .. BUT .. when they saw the spread and the amazing coffee on offer they totally changed their minds 😍

“Very poor experience”
−I booked the reservation some time ago and chose these premises for a quiet stay with my son as it was about halfway to Goodwood, where we going to Festival of speed the following day. We love the area having stayed in Ockley the year before and I was keen to invest in the local community rather than choose a chain hotel. The premises and the local area are beautiful but unfortunately our quiet stay was anything but. We stayed in room 3 directly above rhe car park outside. At just after 11pm a Tesla, parked directly below our window, alarm went off. Annoying but these things happen. The problem was it went on/off every 10 minutes. After the 3rd episode I could here speaking outside and leant our rhe window to ask what was happening. Two of the staff were about to leave and said the chap staying in another room was dealing with it. I explained the alarm had been going on/off for some time. The young member of staff I spoke to said he would stay for another 20 minutes to make sure it didn't go off again. I asked him what happens if it goes off again once he had left and he said there was nothing else he could do. No member of staff would be onsite once he left. I did manage to prise
