4.0“Disappointed, might visit the pub again but will never stay in their rooms”
+Pub itself was good, nice beers and the barmaids were nice and polite, a good location, nice sea view, and illuminations start point across the road, noddy and big ears smiling at you when you look out the window
−Room was very tatty, stained walls, and paint peeling under windows infact there was a pile of peeled/flaked paint on the floor under the window it must have just been ignored by the cleaner because theres no way they could have missed it, although the bedding looked washed and clean there were lots of little black hairs all over the sheets maybe the person who made the beds was particularly hairy or something, Also some suspect looking stains on the blue cushions, the room looked absolutely nothing like the pictures, and as for the continental breakfast, bran flakes or cornflakes and a couple of out of date croissants, parking on site was no good, surely there should be spaces reserved for people staying there??

6.0+Warmly welcomed by a lovely, helpful lady, who showed me to my room and carried a bag for me as I had two bags and a dog. Room was clean with a pleasant scent, and bed was very comfy. Nice warm room. Plenty of tea, biscuits, milk, coffee - with easy access to more if needed. Nice tiled en-suite shower cubicle. Great free parking onsite. Great location...opposite the beach, with a selection of takeaways very close by. For me, finding a Bible in the room was a huge plus. An excellent response to my email , sent at 4.20 in the morning, where I'd expressed my struggles to relax during the evening and sleep through the night. My issues were all addressed next morning with professionalism and compassion- acknowledging everything I had said, offering explanations and genuine apologies. Steps were taken to ease my disappointment and frustration. That caring, sincere response has resulted in me giving a far better review than I'd felt I could give without it. I was impressed with how I, and my concerns, were handled and would encourage you to contact the lovely lady in charge if you have any problems, before you give your review....she really cares about her guests and wants everyone to enj
−●Decaff coffee would be nice, but I always bring my own, so no problem. ●I missed access to a hairdryer, but my short hair dried quickly enough. ●I tend to usually avoid places that charge for dogs, preferring to give my custom to those who don't charge - but the budget-room price was good enough the to make the extra tenner on my one night stay, manageable. My little dog loved exploring our room. I couldn't get hot water ftom the shower...Just lukewarm. Maybe that was me not dying the controls correctly. The view...there wasn't one! I was in a budget room and the price was a little lower because of looking out on a white wall - a beautiful coastal mural on there would look amazing, and feel a little less claustrophobic. The plus side is you're not overlooked! The noise of the cooling equipment in the cellar, keeping beers and barrels at the right temperature, travels clearly into room 4, which caused me a stressful evening, while I was wanting to relax, and unfortunately, a near sleepless night. There's nothing that can be done about this noise and it might not affect someone else. If somebody is hard of hearing or wears ear plugs, or is a heavy sleeper, then room 4 will be a comf

3.0+Location was good peaceful and away from the mayhem of Blackpool and very handy for tram and bus
−The continental breakfast was great on the first morning but was not replenish for the rest of the stay. Had to go and ask for tea sugar and milk. Towels were never changed and toiletries were never replenished. These points are basics which I am sure they will get right. A cooked breakfast would have been better especially taking into account the cost of the stay.

9.0+It was a lovely room the staff were very friendly and we had been warned that England would be playing on the Sunday so the pub was staying open until after 1am. Easy access in and out,the beach and a tram stop opposite and lovely variety of bars and restaurants in the next road.
