“Very nice but not great.”
+Location with private beach and nice ocean view.
−Room was difficult to access either luggage. Beds need to be replaced. Expensive neighborhood. We checked out one day early. No refund.

“Lovely location and stay to enjoy Chatham!”
+It was lovely! Nice relaxing outdoor patio with a great view. Very clean and close to the wedding venue(we walked!). Beach access, quiet, housekeeping was responsive but not pushy. 😊
−Nothing.

“The Hawthorne was a great little hotel close to Main Street and very accessible to stores restaurants the beach I highl”
+My only advice I would give to the Hawthorne would be to trim your hedges back coming out of the driveway. It’s hard to see oncoming cars, and I think that can be dangerous. Other than that, everything was excellent.

“Great getaway location”
+Great location. Very clean! Room was a good size, and nicely fitted out with the basics. The kitchenette facilities allowed us to eat a light breakfast before a lot of downtown restaurants were open. Gorgeous view from the lawn meant we could sit out there while we did so! We also enjoyed the nice private beach.

“The Hawthorne”
+This is the hidden gem of Chatham, not only do you have great views, you have your own private beach. The management and staff are incredibly helpful, and the place is spotless. To top it all off, you can walk into town in about 5 minutes.

“Cute cozy place to stay on the water in Chatham”
+The Hawthorne was a nice cozy spot to stay in Chatham right on the water. The rooms were cute, clean and comfortable. It had beautiful views of the water from the back deck and private beach access. The wild life here was really great! It was in walking distance to town for shopping and eating so that was really great! Over all we really liked the location and would stay again.
−The beach could have benefitted from some clean up. There were a lot of jellyfish in the sand every day. They also could improve the chairs and umbrellas. But the property was not busy while we were there so we did have use of some of those things.
