+Location to the park was very good without staying in the park and paying the prices of staying there. Great views of the mountain ranges in the distance and we loved the two dining options on site.

“The location was absolutely perfect. We loved the restaurants on the resort.”
+We loved the location and the restaurants on the resort. Great location for Yellowstone and the Tetons
−The room did not have a microwave or fridge. We would have liked to have bought stuff for sandwiches for our hiking trips, but we didn’t have a fridge to keep everything cold. Also, I had to throw away my leftovers each night after dinner because there wasn’t a fridge or microwave in the room. The staff were all great except one staff member was outside of our room our first afternoon cussing for about 10 minutes talking about quitting his job. All other staff were fantastic!

“The Hatchet was a great home base for everything in the Tetons and made for a memorable trip!”
+Great proximity to everything outdoors, staff was friendly, rooms were clean, and the restaurant was solid.
−No cooking allowed, which is understandable in bear country

+We loved this property - it had real charm and character while having all the facilities that you could need. Both see on site restaurants were excellent , with great food and incredibly friendly staff.
−There was nothing that we did not like about this property. The only thing that might have improved , it was to have a fridge in the room - but for us , this was a real minor issue.

“Excellent”
+Beautiful suite. Clean and comfortable bed. Nice shower and tub.
−Towels were very rough and non absorbent. Didn’t like that the other suite was connected by a door with a gap in the bottom and the lock appeared to be able to be opened from that side. Maybe they don’t rent them out unless it’s a family who wants it open but it made me nervous with my daughters sleeping in the living room.
