+Spacious very clean room with a large bath and breakfast was great. Easy parking and only 20 minutes drive to Alton Towers
−Very expensive for where and what it is. Staff member who checked us in was lovely but every other we met was rude or not bothered. Watched one stand there and scratch their head with a fork from the dinner tables... Walls and windows are absolutely paper thin and you can hear every single step and cough from rooms around you. Was a seating area outside our room where staff seemed to congregate and have full conversatioms each mornimg and to make matters worse they had their kegs delivered at 6:45am on a thursday morning and had to listen to them throwing them for nearly an hour. Sounded like it was literally in the room. Asked about a late checkout because could barely get any sleep in the place and was just shrugged off by a staff member who couldnt have cared less. Real shame as room was lovely but if you plan on getting any rest I would give it a miss

“Lovely stay, would stay again”
+We had a fab stay. Staff were friendly, welcoming and very accommodating. The rooms were clean and comfortable.
−The child’s bed (fold out chair) was not very comfortable. We would stay again but book a family room so that he has a proper bed and not a fold out bed.

“Was alright”
+The bed was comfy.
−The lighting was very dim. We also did not have a window, only a fire exit which also did not shut properly and our carpet was damp nearby.

“Friendly staff, lovely food and great value for money!”
+We had a lovely stay at The Heart this weekend. The staff were all really friendly and welcoming, the room was comfortable, and the location was ideal for our day out at Alton Towers. The food was delicious, and everything was such good value for money. We couldn’t fault our stay and would definitely come back again!

“Very good overall would reccomend to a friend for location to Alton towers.”
+Everyone and everything was lovely in the accommodation. Room was well presented lovely decor large TV.
−Unfortunately we had a leak in our room which resulted in dripping all night due to rain. Worst the second night. The room could have been warmer. I understand it's an old building and there are challenges. I did report the above to a member of staff in the morning.
