“Lovely hotel, fantastically warm staff and very dog friendly. The free welcome drink and dog gift box were nice touches”
+Stylish yet warm
−Just one small niggle, our room wasn’t ready until nearly 5pm (we’d been told it was a 4pm check in)

“A great few nights away in a lovely location. Would visit again!”
+The room was excellent. The cookies, snacks and teas were a great touch. The two sinks in the bathroom were lovely, along with the side dressing room. Outside was beautifully kept. The swimming facilities were excellent and allowed a private session during the stay. The games room offered a variety of activities and had a lovely feel. The Harper had a great atmosphere!
−The food menu was limited and quite pricey. Fine dining was lovely but cheaper options would be appreciated.

“Definitely a great place to stay if your going to Norfolk.”
+The quality of the premises, the room layout and facilities. The fact that there is plenty of car chargers and the staff were exceptional.
−The continental breakfast was first class but the cooked breakfast was ok but it could have been better.

“Was good for our short stay. I am from a similar industry and I notice all the little things do I am a bit picky, these”
+Modern & Clean. Dinner in restaurant was excellent, obviously a skilled chef behind the scenes. Staff always very helpful & polite.
−The room was small, and needed a paint job, bottom of shower needed Fresh silicone. We paid over £400 a night, had expected a better room. The cooked breakfast was excellent, however the help yourself selection was poor. Lots of items uncovered, breads and bakery were hard and dry, no yogurt on the second morning. I don’t think the orange juice was freshly squeezed, it tasted like it had come out of a carton. Didn’t much rate the coffee either. Some of the serving staff were very young, possibly needed more training, however they were all polite and courteous.

“Sorry, a little underwhelmed for the price”
−It appeared understaffed, a little sruffy and cheap decor. Maybe just not our taste rather than bad.

“Lovely Hotel but not for the price”
+Lovely property. Comfortable and truly dog friendly. Good breakfast. The staff are also friendly and helpful. Food good but very expensive.
−The price. The hotel has staffing issues and for the price one pays you do not expect the bar and reception to close at 6pm. It feels like the “Marie Celeste” at times. The food for the standard of hotel is good(not great ) but way too expensive and prices were akin to a top London hotel. As an example £ 55 for a ribeye steak. I paid £17 for a glass of Rose and £16 for a dessert.

“Good food, lovely room and a very pretty place to stay”
+Beautiful in great location
−We were not made aware the spa steam room was out of action. The jacuzzi was freezing so we could not go in it therefore the pool and sauna were the only options. The pool was also very cold. This was the main disappointment
