“Absolutely enjoyed every minute we were there and especially the falls at Ingleton”
+The atmosphere throughout the property was very welcoming,everyone who we met who worked at the property was asset to the business with everyone seeming to enjoy working there,just a special mention to the two ladies who look after you at breakfast who were both wonderful hosts and really set you up for the day although in all fairness that does relate to everyone. Already looking forward to our next visit

“Settle stay”
+Nice location in the centre of Settle. Convenient car parking available (small charge). Great rooms. Great food. Staff helpful and attentive.
−Nothing. (We did have a minor problem with one of the radiators in our room on the first night, which couldn't be fixed immediately. So, they provided us with another equally good room. All done with little fuss. Appreciated).

“Would recommend, we will be staying there again.”
+The room was comfortable & big enough for us with a large dog. The staff were very helpful & friendly in all aspects of our stay. The food was really good we ate 3 nights & had breakfast 3 mornings. Lovely
−The original room we had was at the back of the pub, we go to bed early (before the pub closes) so the noise from the pub was a bit much for us on Saturday night. We asked to swop to the front of the pub. No problem at all the room we got was great. The staff were very understanding & even offered to move our things for us. We had a great stay.

+Fabulous overnight stay at the Golden Lion on the way back from a longer journey. The staff were really friendly and helpful, both in the evening and in the morning. Food was very tasty and the room was perfect for our needs. We thought it was excellent value for money, and have paid much much more for much less. We'll definitely return.

“Long weekend away”
+We loved everything the room was lovely the toileteries were really good and the food was brilliant.
−We left the towels on the bathroom floor after being used but they were not changed. The food was so good but it let it down when it was served on cold plates which meant the food didnt stay warm.

“The Golden Lion is Settle!”

+The whole team are to be praised and thanked. They were always positive and so cheerful thank you very much. I had selected an upgraded room so that I would have the sofa work from during the day. I stayed for two days. The hotel knew my booking was only for one person, but they made up the sofa into a bed even though I was the only person they knew was going to be in the room. This meant throughout the duration of my stay, I did not have the sofa to use. I know it might be making their lives easier for the next person who is going to use the room, however I have paid an upgrade and I left out like I was going to cause problems if I had to manually put it it back to being a sofa. It was very nice to have a bar in the room, however unfortunately the refrigerator was switched off and therefore nothing was cool when I first arrived. I cannot praise the staff enough kindly giving me glasses of ice in the Interim. All the meals are very enjoyable and I liked your accessories within your bathroom. I also appreciated the complimentary fudge. As you will appreciate, the main window was not open very wide so therefore the room could be very warm , therefore a fan might be an idea to help. T
