+Decor of the house Attention to small detail, room view
−Cold room. Radiator didn't help too much. Very very noisy- people talking on the street and traffic noise. Couldn't rest properly (I guess the problem was the windows were not sealing properly)

“The Gifford was a lovely place to spend a few days!”
+Location is great for our stay.
−The check in experience was a little tricky. Ultimately, we figured it out. The WiFi was spotty.

“Don't advertise free parking when you know there is no parking.”
+the room was clean and tidy. the room itself met our needs.
−No free cancellation. They say free parking and when you find out there is no parking, you can't cancel and go somewhere that does actually have parking. Result parking 1 mile away and paying 40 pounds. The only place I booked that made us pay a 100 pound bond.

“Great location, but needed staff on site.”
+The location was excellent, within walking distance of good restaurants, the castle, and other sites.
−I do not like self service properties, especially when they do not advertise as such. My phone stopped working and there was no one to help. We could not even call a taxi. It was our first stop in our journey and it made it very stressful.

“Ottima soluzione per visitare Edimburgo”
+Non in centro ma ben servito con fermata autobus di fronte all' hotel, tranquillo, pulito, parcheggio per strada gratuito.
−Mancanza di colazione e di reception, anche se il check in funziona comunque benissimo
