“Superb place to stay, the staff are excellent and clealy proud of where they work.”
+10/10 the staff 10/10 The food Rooms were excellent
−Not the hotels fault but the councils dustmen collecting the bins at 5.20am which woke us up.

“Friendly staff, adequate room, good breakfast. Quite a high price.”
+Room was adequate size, staff were friendly and the pub seemed popular and welcoming. The car park was full when we arrived on Sunday lunchtime but cleared later so we were able to park, which was a bonus.
−Let down a little by some details - toilet seat was functioning but clearly broken, shower screen leaked a little water onto the floor. The beds were very soft with a quite obvious dip. For over £100 I would have expected better quality. Breakfast was not included, but was available and we had it. Good quality, but again a little expensive. I know this is not a cheap area though.

“An exceptional stay, wonderful hospitality and a truly memorable experience. We can’t wait to return!”
+What a fantastic experience from start to finish! The Fleece is a wonderful place to stay, full of character, charm and a lovely welcoming atmosphere. The hospitality was exceptional, and everything contributed to making our stay feel really special. A beautiful setting, a relaxing atmosphere and a genuinely memorable experience. We couldn’t have asked for more and would happily return!
−Absolutely nothing to complain about. Our only regret was that we were staying for just one night! We would have loved to stay longer.

“Excellent stay thank you.”
+The location, cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. We loved the breakfasts and evening meals. A very vibrant sunny weekend when we stayed.
−We really liked the property and found nothing to dislike. If we were being very picky the step outside our room wobbles underfoot.

+Stayed here for 3 nights. Location on the Church Green was fabulous, 2 minute walk to main street, great location for touring the area and 12 minutes from Clarkesons pub. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent.

“Ticks most boxes but areas”
+Good location, good food, good service
−Rather tired, needs some tlc and a lick of paint. Pricey for the quality but probably on a par for the location. Limited wine list and no real ale available for our visit
