“I highly recommend staying at The Flat of you are looking for somewhere convenient to sleep and shower Location was fabu”
+It was in a fabulous location. It was clean and staff were lovely. The shared bathroom was not an issue. The free tea, coffee and utensils were great and having access to a fridge was helpful.
−The 4 flights of stairs, but we knew about them when we booked so tried to pack light

−I was a little nervous about the shared bathroom, but it was very clean and I had no problems with it.

“Overall clean and comfy, worth it to save a couple hundred $ vs other options in the area.”
+Great location. Felt warm and safe, rooms were quiet. Never had a wait for the shared bathrooms and these were kept clean and well stocked.
−You do get what you pay for, I think the lamp and tv remote in my room weren’t working the best. But it’s NYC, I wasn’t there to spend a lot of time in the room!

“Uncomfortable bed, cold shower, great location”
+The location is excellent - super convenient to get to and in the middle of everything. The decor is very cool and the check in staff was kind.
−My bed sagged in the middle and was very uncomfortable. The hot water never truly got hot, which was a huge bummer on a cold day like the day I was there.

“Clean, comfortable, safe, location, you will hear the noises in the street.”
+Location is amazing. Neighborhood is safe and near to Flatiron just 2 mins away and you’re in the park.
−It doesn’t have elevator. But its ok because all staff are helpful to get your luggage in the room
