+Friendly warm welcome. Great pub food in cosy surroundings. Lovely en-suite rooms and amazing team.
−Small window in the bedroom made it a little stuffy.

“Comfortable and enjoyable stay, with friendly, helpful staff, and very good food.”
+2 night stay for a wedding nearby, for which it was a great location. Breakfast was excellent, but note that it is not available weekdays, so staff directed us to a really good nearby café for our first morning (which was a Friday). Dining was restaurant quality, not pub grub. Chef (proprietor) runs the kitchen, and it shows. Staff were professional and friendly. The room was spotless, comfortable and well appointed. I wish the owners success with their new(ish) venture. It is well deserved.

“A relaxed, comfortable stay with great staff & food”
+We were made to feel very welcome with a super team at The Fenwick. The room was excellent and the food was superb.
−A hand rail to assist getting in and out of the bath for a shower would be a big plus.

“A good stay.”
+The room was well appointed but do avoid rooms 1 and 9 as there is a table outside where smokers may sit (which they did on our arrival) so opening the window lets smoke and noise in.
−Road noise in the morning but not too bad.
