“Terrible price, terrible sanitation, unhelpful host, invalid contact info”
−1. Core Quality & Habitability Failures: Plumbing & Sanitation: The toilet was continuously running and had to be turned off manually at the wall valve. Fixtures and sink were heavily corroded and mineral-encrusted, and no basic hand soap was provided. The toilet bowl brush was covered in grime. At times, the sink barely let any water out. The cutting board used for drink and food preparation was very dirty and unsanitary. Safety & Structure: Concrete steps on the patio are crumbling, wall fixtures have exposed electrical wiring, and large gaps around doors allowed pests to enter. Lack of Basic Amenities/Stock: The property lacked standard food items (no milk or basic local fruit like pineapples) and lacked standard check-in preparation despite a late arrival. We had to wait 10 minutes for the room to be prepared, despite arriving a day late. 2. Host Response & Admitted Property Baseline: When brought to the host's attention, the owner (who lived in Germany and communication was difficult due to time zone differences) refused to offer a resolution or address the maintenance defects. +I loved that it’s a small property, only 4 bungalows, and I was able to hang out by the pool in almost solitude. It felt very exclusive and relaxing
−It was a bit far away from the town centre, but I was happy to relax by the pool and eat all my meals here

“Amazing retreat with great views, but very remote”
+Views are simply amazing from the pool or the balcony. It’s on the hill, the surroundings are dry, but the view … is amazing. There are only 4 villas, so you barely meet any other guests. Hotel helped us arranging a brand new scooter which helped to travel between beaches and Kuta. It’s around 20min from Kuta, so scooter is a very nice addition. We also enjoyed our breakfasts and lunch in the hotel.
−Most negative reviews are about the location, but it was perfect for us. The cleanliness in the hotel could be improved - the pool had many leafs on the surface, sand on the bottom and in general there could be a room cleaning service for stays longer than 2 nights.

“Lovely views, cool layout and good restaurant”
+Staff were so accomodating. Lovely pool tanning area. It was a very chill and relaxing atmosphere. Cute puppy and cat. Great views! Nice drinks from bar and food. There’s also a restaurant next door if you don’t want to venture into town. Can walk to a beach for sightseeing. About 20 mins out of Kuta town. Comfy bed and clean inside. Cool bathroom and nice patio.

“Excellent facilities, staff and location. Would come again!”
+The whole resort is located on a beautiful hill with a very remote feel. You overlook the bay even from the restaurant area behind the pool. We were extremely happy with the facilities, especially the room with a beautiful balcony overlooking that same mentioned bay. The whole area is extremely quiet, so perfect to relax. The highlight of it all to be honest was the staff that is working there, Apip is a legend and helps you with everything you might need (Scooters, travel tips etc.). The other hosts were also extremely friendly and helpful, which we appreciated lots. Not to forget about the Chef, best Sambal we had wow!! I highly recommend her lalapan chicken as well as the delicious smoothie bowls in the morning. 10/10. You should be aware though that Kuta is not "right around the corner", if you are planning to go there regularly e.g. for parties or other activities. It can be hard to find a taxi back in the night.

“Uitzicht is fantastisch, onderhoud mag net iets beter”
+Het uitzicht is fenomenaal mooi. Het zwembad is ook lekker groot en je kunt hangend op de rand uitkijken over de baai.
−De staat van onderhoud is net niet top. Daardoor oogt het een beetje slordig. In 3 dagen hebben we 2 keer om onderhoud gevraagd van het sanitair.

“Excelente alternativa para quem prefere conforto e tranquilidade”
+Boa piscina com uma paisagem maravilhosa sobre a baía de BumBang. Bungalows confortaveis. Staff simpático e eficiente. Boa comida confecionada no restaurante. Ficamos em regime de meia pensão e não nos arrependemos. Serviço de transporte desde a Gili Gede, para o aeroporto e numa visita à Praia de Tanjung Aan foram providenciados pelo alojamento e pudemos pagar junto com a fatura final.
−Do hotel gostamos de tudo! A única coisa dececionante durante a nossa estada foi a visita à praia de Tanjung Aan. Extremamente poluída, sendo impossível de nadar devido a quantidade de plástico, e montanhas de lixo semi queimado nas zonas perto da praia. Para uma praia cheia de warungs, beach clubs e turistas (demasiados), estranho que todos se preocupem em fatura e ninguém se preocupe em limpar o local. No dia seguinte fomos até a praia de Bumbang (30 mins a pé do Endless Summer Resort) e tivemos uma experiência muito mais gratificante. Praia bonita, pouco poluida e ainda conseguimos uma refeição de peixe e lagosta num restaurante flutuante por um preço justo.
