“A good find for central Cheltenham.”
+Rather quirky, not exactly what we expected but an enjoyable experience nevertheless. The ‘do-it-yourself’ breakfast was different to the norm but enjoyable with freshly squeezed juice, good coffee and croissants. The location and included parking a big plus for Cheltenham.
−Evidence of refurbishment in places.

“Bad stay”

−They are still working on this place. I accept it's an old building which I usually like but single quilts on the double bed! Electric went, cold showers. The worst thing was breakfast. I walked in and it's like someone's kitchen. My friend was stood eating a piece of toast there were a couple of seats around a breakfast bar and an old small table and 2 chairs. Next door was a room with old fashioned sofa and chair and a vacuum in the middle of the floor and blades on the mantlepiece where they were doing work and tools left about. A few of us and another couple in another party left to go out and get breakfast.

+The location and parking was great and the host was very polite and showed us to the room The bed was comfortable
−Unable to make a cup of tea as the kettle tripped the switch, no hand towels, a double bed with two single quilts,far too many cupboards in the room, cluttered.Certainly didnt look like the picture above. A cold shower and for breakfast, no table and not enough chairs to sit on and eat breakfast, so standing up to eat toast. So our group left to have breakfast somewhere else si we all could sit down around a table.

“Great Hotel!”
+The Dulwich is centrally located & has parking available. We had a lovely stay. The hotel is clean, comfortable, quirky with many original features. The rooms are very well equipped with air con, a mini fridge, TV, comfortable beds & excellent quality bathroom fittings. Loved the shower! Breakfast was flexible & was on a serve yourself basis in a well stocked & well equipped kitchen. Both the manager & receptionist were extremely accommodating & very helpful.

−We discovered upon arrival they were carrying out minor renovations and we were the only guests along with our friends staying that weekend. The staff member we dealt with said didn't anyone inform you,... No !!! The entrance hall was covered in dust, the room was was basic and looked like it had been assembled from a charity shop, the bed had odd pillows, one super soft and one hard as rock which couldn't be used ! The place has the feel of a Youth Hostel and should be priced accordingly !!

−Too much noise from someone walking on the top floor at 3 a.m. It seemed like it was done on purpose. There was also a very strong smell of food taking over the place as soon as we arrived. The décor and furniture were antique, which was fine, but they looked very old and worn out. There was also a lack of facilities that would be helpful for women, such as a magnifying mirror for makeup and at least a hair dryer.
