“Not A Fan of the Guest Service. I May Return for a higher Room.”
+The property and room were lovely and clean. The bed and linen were cozy. The pool was small but clean with lots of loungers and seating. My room was charming and the complimentary snacks and waters were nice, as was the fridge. Optional free street parking lot was close.
−The staff was not friendly or welcoming. They seemed troubled to explain where my room was located or when answering any questions. I was disappointed because the ambiance of everything feels upscale and nice but service felt very motel lobby. The lower level room I was in was very loud with street noise. I checked out by 11pm and nobody seemed to care.

“comfy, convenient downtown stay and a great pit stop on the way to Sequoia”
+we had a good stay at The Darling, right in downtown Visalia and walkable to some nice bars and coffee shops. stopped here for a night on our way to Sequoia (about a 45 min drive away) and it was super convenient. Big bathroom, comfy beds, an awesome shower that pours down on you like a waterfall and you can park on the street or in the gated lot (extra fee). Only heads up: ask for a room not on the first floor, since it's basically a basement (?). For a longer stay I'd definitely want a higher floor, but for one night on a road trip we didn't mind at all

+Pretty decent hotel on the way to Yosemite/Sequoia. Art deco style, good restaurant at rooftop. Good staff/service.
−Google maps said it is 5 star hotel but it is for sure not (however it is still good boutique hotel). Walls a bit thin, I heard noises from next-door room.

−Nonostante avessimo prenotato il ristorante e avvisato del ritardo ore prima non abbiamo ricevuto risposta e non abbiamo potuto cenare in struttura
